(Summer Furano Limited) Ningle Terrace & Shikisai no Oka & Farm Tomita & Blue Pond & Waterfall Day Tour
- Carefully selected morning and afternoon departure itineraries, thoughtfully meeting the needs of those who don't want to wake up early.
- Strictly selected popular attractions in Furano, covering highly picturesque flower viewing spots (flowering season varies by month, with fewer flowers in April and a full bloom from May to October).
- Stroll through Shikisai-no-Oka, encounter the magnificent "color palette of the earth" in Biei, and immerse yourself in the romance of summer flower fields and seas of flowers.
- Check in at Shirogane Blue Pond, capturing the dreamlike blue lake comparable to an Apple wallpaper, and admire the stunning reflections of withered trees and light intertwined in the water.
- Step into Furano Forest, where 15 log triangular cabins are scattered along a wooden boardwalk, resembling a fairy tale village where elves reside. As night falls, the forest fairy tale cabins and handmade workshop clusters light up one after another, creating a full ambiance – this is the gentle and healing Ningle Terrace.
What to expect
- Shikisai-no-Oka | Hokkaido’s Most Beautiful Rainbow Flower Carpet Boasting 15 hectares of magnificent flower fields, it’s like a seven-colored rainbow spread across the earth. From late May to late October, over 30 varieties of flowers such as tulips, lavender, and sunflowers bloom in succession. The rolling hills transform into a painter’s overturned palette, and the giant scarecrows in the fields are cute and healing, captivating at first sight.
- Shirogane Blue Pond | A Dreamlike Blue Mirror Gifted by Nature The minerals in the water refract a stunning azure blue, creating a picturesque scene with the larch trees by the lake.
- Shirasu Falls | Pure White Tassels Cascading Between Rocks Water gently pours from the rock crevices, like delicate silver whiskers, clear and soft, quietly healing. It’s a gentle little scene hidden in the mountains of Hokkaido.
- Ningle Terrace | A Dreamy Fairytale Town in a Snowy Forest Limited-time illuminations are perfectly romantic, with warm yellow lanterns twinkling among the trees. Elf cabins are hidden within the forest, transporting you into a real-life fairytale world in an instant.
- Farm Tomita | The Romantic Origin of Hokkaido Lavender Hokkaido Furano’s iconic farm, the birthplace of lavender cultivation. Large purple flower seas intertwine with colorful flower fields, and the fresh floral scent showcases the romance and gentleness of summer.

Reviews summaryOur tour guide, Lucy, was very professional and provided us with a lot of different information. Although our departure was delayed due to a restaurant issue during lunch, Lucy did her best to help us catch up on the itinerary, ensuring that our time visiting the flower fields and other attractions was not reduced. That was fantastic! Also, I had read reviews saying that by the time the tour reached Farm Tomita, the farm would already be closed. However, Lucy specially adjusted the itinerary, taking us to Farm Tomita first, then to Shikisai-no-Oka, Aoiike (Blue Pond), and Shirogane Falls. This allowed us to enjoy cantaloupe and lavender ice cream at Farm Tomita. The arrangements were incredibly flexible! I originally joined this day tour just for the convenience of transportation, but thanks to Lucy, I also learned about Hokkaido's history, culture, cuisine, and more. This was the best day tour I've ever taken! Thank you, Lucy!
Visited June 16. Great tour if you want to see most of Furano/Biei! Jenny our guide was very good, she shared a lot of information and stories throughout the day. The itinerary is a bit tight, we only had a few minutes in each stop, which is unfortunate but necessary so we could visit as many places as possible. I would prefer to stay longer at Tomita Farm though, since most the flowers in Shikisai no Oka weren't in bloom yet. Great view and great day overall. Passed though locations that were part of JJ Project's Tomorrow, Today MV 💚
We joined this tour specifically for the fairy terrace illumination. It was a small group of about 20 people, so it wasn't chaotic. Since we departed at 11 AM, our first stop was for lunch. The tour guide seemed worried about running out of time later and kept insisting that this was the only place to buy food and eat. However, there were ice cream and specialty snacks available at Shikisai no Oka and Farm Tomita. I don't recommend the lavender ice cream at the herb garden; it wasn't as good as the one at Farm Tomita. Afterward, perhaps because the guide was concerned about returning to Sapporo too late, the time allocated for each stop was very tightly managed. Even though we were told we'd have 50 minutes, the timer started before we even reached the destination, effectively cutting 5 minutes short. We eventually returned to Sapporo at 9 PM. While the time management was excellent, we didn't feel like we had enough time to fully enjoy ourselves. The only positive aspect of the guide was their excellent and clear explanations in both Chinese and English.
We had an awesome time on the Furano Biei tour with Jenny! She was super organized and messaged us the day before with a helpful checklist of what to bring. During the tour, she shared really cool historical facts at every stop without making it boring. Plus, her food recommendations were spot on—she knew exactly what local specialties to try and where to get them for the best price. Highly recommend her!
pick up from Odori station exit 31 is a breeze. Tour Guide Kelvin will watapps a day in advance before the trip and give you the clear direction on where to meet. he was well conversed in Chinese, English and Japanese. He was good at the history of the places we visited. Every locations, he will tell us the background and its history which is very useful! thumb up for the smooth ride and imptly get to see all the beautiful scenery in Hokkaido. ❤️
The trip was enjoyable with the guide Hikari, who introduced many local Hokkaido specialties to us and others on the bus. He was quite friendly and genuine. We managed to reach all destinations on time and returned by 6 PM. The only regret is that the penguin parade was canceled, and there were only a few animals in the zoo. However, the polar bear and snow leopard were the highlights.
My daughter was so excited to see animals in the snow. We’ve never been to a zoo where the entire park was white with snow! it felt magical, It can be very slippery so being snow spikes with you. Unfortunately one of the attractions was closed so they extended our time for the snow mobiles. We visited the Christmas Tree last. My family love snow so this day was magical for us.
The guide was very helpful and considerate. She's realistic about the timeframe and even suggested we buy our lunch at 7/11 since we will not have enough time to eat at the zoo. We have 3 kids with us and she always checks if we are ok. The trip was nice and organized but if you have kids, best to stay at asahimaya zoo the wholeday. The highlight of our tour was the snowmobile experience. Its highly recommended.
Worth it! David was really nice and helpful in guiding us during the tour. 1) Asahiyama Zoo ─ We joined the tour on 8 Dec, unfortunately the penguin walk hasn't started yet because the amount of the snow. 2) Shikisai No Oka ─ Snow Mobile is really a must try! The snow was quite thick and we got snowy rain during the race. And the view, was so ethereal! 3) Christmas Tree ─ The rain was quite heavy so the sky was no that clear. I thought we got wrong angle to capture the tree 🥹 4) Ningle Terrace ─ The rain was so heavyyy, we could not go around to enjoy the village coz we didn't have enough time there. Our time was just consumed by visiting the toilet which was quite far from the parking lot.
The highlight of the trip was definitely the tour guide—very enthusiastic, professional, and fluent in English. Thanks to their guidance, I learned a lot about the places we visited, the local culture, and the history of the region. Their passion and knowledge made the experience even more enjoyable. If you’re planning a trip to Asahikawa, I highly recommend this experience. It was truly a memorable and meaningful day!
