If you're planning to explore the Northern Kansai region, this pass is a must-buy. There are no additional charges for any reserved seats. We used this single pass for our trips to Maizuru, Amanohashidate, Fukuchiyama, Yumura Onsen, Kinosaki Onsen, and Kobe, before returning to Osaka! It's incredibly cost-effective for a two-day trip to Amanohashidate and its surroundings! Price: Excellent value for money. Included transportation services: The two-day pass for Amanohashidate covers all train, boat, and cable car fees for a short period, allowing you to save time and fully explore Amanohashidate. Pass applicability: Usable throughout Northern Kansai, though you might not be able to visit everything. Redemption instructions: You can exchange the pass and reserve seats directly at the JR station in Kansai Airport, where Chinese-speaking staff are available. Service starts at 5:30 AM! Seat reservation process: You can reserve reserved seats directly at JR station automatic ticket machines or by speaking to staff at JR ticket counters.

The Kansai–Hiroshima Pass is definitely worth it. It includes the sightseeing bus that lets you hop on and off at Hiroshima's major attractions, which saved me both time and money while exploring the city. I do feel that one day isn't enough to fully experience Hiroshima, as there are many more places worth visiting. The pass also offers excellent value because it can be used on JR lines to travel to other destinations within its coverage

Definitely great value for money. The pass was easy to use and made the trip very enjoyable. You can buy the add-on "limited" train ticket that does not require a change of train halfway. I upgraded to the limited train on the outbound trip and took the regular trains back, and it was just as easy. You literally just hop off one train, stay on the same platform, and hop on the next to get back to the city. The unlimited bus ride in the mountains was fantastic too. Just show the driver the pass when you get off. Saves a lot of money indeed. Highly recommended.

This helped me a lot to go to all the places I've been to in the Kansai area. Since I am new to how the train system works in Japan, I tend to get lost, and with this pass, I never have to worry about spending extra for transportation if I end up in the wrong station, as this is unlimited.

It's convenient to use the Haruka Limited Express when traveling from Kansai Airport to Osaka or Kyoto. It's even better that you can also use the bus service operating between the Inner and Outer Shrines of Ise Jingu. For a trip covering Nagoya, Ise, Wakayama, and Osaka, it's great to be able to use JR along the coastline, mountains, and valleys. Included transportation: Ise City Bus Pass available areas: Osaka, Nara, Wakayama, Ise City, Nagoya
