Halong Bay is absolutely fantastic. It’s a must visit place when you are in Hanoi. Our tour guide TuTu was great 👍 He made the whole trip enjoyable with his stories, jokes and general attitude. Enjoy the kayaking and bicycle ride was fun. We were on La Mignonette Cruise. Mr. Anh Quynh, the Cruise owner came to the ship to greet us to make sure everything.

We booked this trip on Klook. My family of five and I booked a 2-day, 1-night tour of Ha Long Bay and Lan Ha Bay. First, the 25-seater minibuses for the round trip between Hanoi and the port were very comfortable. We took a car ferry along the way, and the several-hour journey passed in a flash. Upon arriving at the port, our guide, Oanh, led our group of 17 fellow travelers to a shuttle boat that took us to our cruise ship. The shuttle boat was our main mode of transport for these two days. First, the rooms on the cruise ship were very clean, and the bed linen was soft and fluffy; the hot and cold water pressure in the room was also good. The catering was very thoughtful, with soup, bread, vegetables, and fruit all provided. There was a vegetarian in our group, and a separate meal was prepared for them. I declared that I don't eat chicken, and they also prepared a seafood alternative for me. So, if you have any food allergies, please speak up! Besides the rooms, the cruise ship's deck had lounge chairs and a bar for us to relax. Regarding the itinerary, there was about a 1.5-hour kayaking experience to explore Surprise Cave (friends who don't want to kayak can choose to ride a bamboo raft). This was the highlight of the trip, and the surrounding scenery was truly beautiful; then we went to a beach for swimming. After dusk, we drank on the deck, and after dinner, there was a squid fishing experience. Sleeping on the cruise ship was no different from being on land; it was very stable and didn't sway. On the morning of the second day, the shuttle boat took us to a port, where we cycled six kilometers to a village to learn about their self-sufficient lifestyle. A golf cart picked us up for the return journey. Oanh's English was excellent, so there were no communication barriers. She meticulously took care of every traveler and even joined us for kayaking and cycling. The staff on the ship also worked very hard to serve us.

The boat wasn't overly luxurious, but the rooms were quite good. Our room was on the first deck, had everything we needed, and was relatively clean. All rooms are sea-view! The activities were plentiful, offering great value for money! The sunrise and sunset views from the boat were incredibly beautiful, making for a very relaxing and comfortable journey. Although the meals on board weren't exceptionally delicious, they were still quite good and varied. The voyage was fairly smooth, and none of our companions experienced seasickness, though there was occasional swaying. Only two travelers in our group felt a bit dizzy, but not to the point of vomiting.

Upon confirmation of the tour package, the tour office contacted us via WhatsApp. We simply sent them the hotel information, and they arranged the hotel pick-up. We just sat and waited in the hotel lobby, and the tour guide came into the hotel to confirm with us. Therefore, you do not need to wait outside and can avoid getting into the wrong tour minivan. Overall, it is recommended for first-time visitors to Ha Long Bay. It is not recommended for elderly individuals with walking sticks due to the up and down movement of the cruise. However, the cruise staff and tour guide are very helpful and willing to assist.

Chuyến tham quan rất đáng tiền. Hãy chuẩn bị để có những giây phút vui vẻ. Đội ngũ du thuyền Mignonne rất chuyên nghiệp. Bữa ăn ngon. Xe buýt thoải mái. Thời gian hoàn hảo. Thời tiết không được như mong đợi, nhưng điều đó không được đảm bảo. Đặc biệt cảm ơn hướng dẫn viên Oanh. Đội ngũ Klook cũng rất hỗ trợ. Đối với Việt Nam, đây là một trải nghiệm đáng giá.
