The Halong Bay Deluxe Cruise was a remarkable trip for me and my wife, as this was our first visit to Hanoi, Vietnam. We were mesmerized by the many scenic views. The bamboo boat ride and the Sung Sot cave visit were breathtaking. We loved this trip.
Great tour!! The day trip from Hanoi to Halong Bay was well organised. One day before the tour, the guide will contact you to confirm the order information, pick-up time, and location. My tour guide was Hung; he was friendly and very good. We had an enjoyable tour and cruise ride on April 3rd. The driver dropped us off at a location near the restaurant we wanted to go to.
My friends and I had a great time during our Halong Bay tour. Mr. Hung (our tour guide) is very knowledgeable about Halong Bay history. I was amazed by the beauty of Sung Sot Cave. Lunch was also delicious, and our cruise was bigger and prettier compared to other cruises we saw.
The Operator I dealt with was incredibly patient and helpful with all of my queries. The reservation process was seamless, even with the short notice. The confirmation email was prompt, and was able to confirm the pick-up time with our guide, Hung. Speaking of Hung, he was an absolute delight! He's got a great sense of humour, was incredibly informative, and really attentive to our needs. The tour highlights included: An oyster farm visit, which was both educational and engaging; The stunning landscapes of Ti Top Island, Sung Sot Cave, and Luon Cave. All in all, it was an enjoyable day out with my family, and a big shout-out to Hung for making it all the more special.
It was a fun full day tour. Best way to see Ha Long Bay, UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site. We got a chance to admire tiny islands with fanciful names: Fighting cocks, Duck, Swan, Stone Dogs…Just keep in mind, the caves are packed with tourists and some places, it was hard to get through. It was a trek to climb up the Ti Top mountain but from there, you can see the magnificent view of Ha Long Bay. Lunch was delicious and plentiful. Strongly recommend this tour.
Our tour, expertly guided by Hung, was a truly immersive experience. He not only displayed friendliness and humor but also showcased an exceptional understanding of Vietnam's rich culture. The journey began with a visit to a pearl factory, followed by lunch (they managed to cater for vegetarian or any other diet requirements) on a new boat that was less than 6 months old. The adventure continued to Ti Top Island, where a challenging 500-step climb led to a mesmerizing panoramic view. We then explored Sung Sot Caves, navigating through a lot of walking and climbing to uncover the fascinating history within. The final stop at Luon Cave presented us with a choice between a wet kayaking adventure and a relaxing bamboo boat experience. Despite the crowds, reaching Ti Top Island and Sung Sot Caves early, as per Hung's plan, made the experience more intimate with our small group of 25. As the day came to a close, we were treated to a breathtaking sunset on our way back to the marina. I highly recommend Hung and this tour for those seeking a private and insightful exploration of Halong Bay.
Our guide, Dan, was very helpful and knowledgeable. He gave an overview of Hanoi's history at the start of the tour. We traveled with young children, and Dan even approached us to ask if we had any food preferences for them and made arrangements to suit our needs. The cruise liner was clean and nicer than expected. We visited Ti Top Island and Hang Sot Cave before heading off to enjoy the bay itself. Tour guide Dan was with the group the entire time and helped take photos for everyone. Upon returning to Hanoi, the bus driver also kindly dropped us off at our requested destination in the city. Overall, it was good value for money. A good variety was provided for lunch, not to mention that the food was delicious. Highly recommended 👌.
Lovely, lovely, lovely is all I can say... beautiful location... so many islands around... more than 1000. The rooms are amazing and clean. The cruise is big. They teach you to make spring rolls with rice paper. Stop over at a cave. Overall, an awesome cruise experience.
The trip was excellent. The scenery was really nice and we had ample time to experience each activity. However, the lunch buffet was just so-so with a small variety of food, and the food was average too.
