The magnificent natural beauty of Ha Long Bay is something you truly can't appreciate from photos alone; you have to experience it in person. I highly recommend it. Luckily, our tour guide was Johnny Handsome, who many others have praised in their reviews. He worked hard to make the tour lively and ensured we traveled safely and smoothly. The driver, though a bit gruff, drove very safely. Since my hotel was in a complicated location, the tour started with a motorbike transfer. We then traveled comfortably on a large bus along the highway, stopping twice for toilet breaks at a souvenir shop and a pearl shop during the two-and-a-half-hour journey. Upon arrival at the pier, we were immediately guided onto the boat for a lunch buffet. The food was reasonably good. Drinks were extra. We first chose between a bamboo boat, kayak, or speedboat (with an additional charge) and enjoyed our respective activities. The bamboo boat was rowed for us, allowing us to take photos at leisure. Kayaking seemed challenging for beginners, as it navigated through many passing bamboo boats. Next, we moved a short distance by boat to visit a cave. The cave tour was about 2km and took an hour. The initial ascent to the entrance was a steep staircase, followed by repeated ups and downs on stairs, which was honestly tiring. However, there were spots with panoramic views of Ha Long Bay, and I managed to take beautiful photos. After that, we moved a short distance by boat to Ti Top Island, where you can swim or climb to the observation deck. Honestly, my legs were tired from the cave, so I just relaxed on the boat, haha. The day concluded with a sunset party. It was very simple: tea, a small amount of red wine, small mango cookies, fried rice crackers, and watermelon. You could order beer, cocktails, and juices for an extra charge, but it was a bit disappointing. Nevertheless, Ha Long Bay at sunset was incredibly beautiful and the highlight. Since you spend the entire day on the same boat in the same seat, you can leave your belongings (except valuables) and travel light for sightseeing. On the way back, we had one toilet break at a souvenir shop, and I was dropped off near my hotel while I was dozing off. It was a fulfilling and enjoyable day.

I recently went on a trip to Ha Long Bay, and overall it was a very satisfying experience. The natural scenery is extraordinary—the towering limestone formations in the middle of the sea create a unique and iconic panorama. The activities offered are also quite comprehensive, ranging from kayaking, visiting caves, to enjoying the sunset atmosphere on board the ship. We recently did a cruise in Ha Long Bay and it was honestly one of the highlights of our trip. The scenery is absolutely stunning — those limestone cliffs and calm waters are even better in person. The cool, fresh air was such a nice break from the heat of Hanoi where we had just come from. The caves were a real standout — very impressive and definitely worth exploring. It added a bit of adventure to the whole experience. The only downside was that the bus pick-up was a bit delayed, which made things slightly stressful at the start. But once we got going, everything else ran smoothly and made up for it. Overall, a really memorable experience and I’d definitely recommend it!

Ngay từ khi chúng tôi đến cảng, họ đã làm cho mọi thứ trở nên suôn sẻ với phong cách chuyên nghiệp nhưng đầy năng lượng của mình. Họ cực kỳ am hiểu và hài hước, khiến toàn bộ hành trình trở nên dễ dàng và vui vẻ. First, the bus driver (tour guide) was incredibly cheerful and pleasant, always keeping us in a good mood. Next, regarding the tour itself, the cruise ship was comfortable, offering an experience not typically found elsewhere. The buffet was delicious and satisfying. The rocky islets visible from the ship were imposing. The limestone caves were vast, unlike anything seen in Japan, reaffirming their unique national character. As for the boats, the speedboat was very exciting, and the wind felt pleasant; it had quite a sense of speed. For the bamboo raft or kayak option, I chose the bamboo raft. The bamboo raft is a type where dozens of people ride together, and an attendant paddles for you. The kayak is a two-person type that you paddle yourself. The kayak is probably where you'll get the wettest. Some people paddling the kayak weren't in sync and ended up bumping into other boats. At the final beach, the water was cold, and we watched the sunset. After it ended, we had a party on the ship's rooftop and returned while enjoying the night view. If you come to Vietnam, you should definitely take this day trip.

We had an amazing time. Our tour guide, Johnny Handsome 😊, was very accommodating throughout. We arrived at Ha Long International Port ourselves, and he made sure we were all set up. He was full of life from start to finish, and we felt less tired around him. He's knowledgeable, entertaining, and engaging. The best tour guide I've experienced so far. The cruise was amazing. The food filled us up. We went to 3 different locations and, at the very end, had a blast at the afternoon party alongside the beautiful sunset. We hope to come back and have a fantastic experience once again. Highly recommended.

I was worried about the toilets when I joined the tour. There were two breaks every hour, so I felt very comfortable participating. Once we boarded the cruise ship, we joined other tour groups and went around the islands. The toilets there were surprisingly dirty, which shocked me. Well, maybe that's part of the fun of traveling abroad. I think this is a tour you can definitely participate in even if you don't speak English, as long as you can understand the times. When I really couldn't understand, I used a translator to communicate with the guide. The guide was also friendly and easy to talk to! For food, there was seafood and Vietnamese cuisine. It was neither good nor bad. Participating in it turned out to be an interesting memory! It was fun! Thank you!!

The tour was great, especially our tour guide, Johnny. He was very lively throughout and came up with very clever group names so that we wouldn't get lost. The places we visited were all very beautiful and unforgettable. The food was great, with many selections, but mostly consisted of Vietnamese cuisine. Overall, my parents and I had a blast on this tour.
