Cruzeiro Reina Day: Baía de Ha Long com Sung Sot e Ti Top

Halong Bay is truly beautiful and a must-visit place. Our trip was well organized with an experienced and friendly guide, Michael. He took good care of everyone in the group, so we felt comfortable, and he explained everything clearly. We really enjoyed the amazing scenery and activities without worries. We were lucky the weather was good, so we enjoyed the sunset with music. The downside was that drinking water was not free, and the evening party only offered a little fruit and biscuits.

I participated alone as a woman! It was a fulfilling tour all day long! I'll write in detail about the flow, and I hope it's helpful :) I received a WhatsApp message around 10:30 AM the day before, and then another message from the tour guide at 6 AM on the day of the tour, telling me what time they would arrive. I waited in the hotel lobby at that time, and then I got a call. I was told to go outside because they were almost there, so I waited outside, and then I got another call, and they arrived with one person on the back of a motorbike, lol. I thought, "Are there three of us?" but then they said, "The bus is right there, follow me!" I chased the motorbike, and a bus appeared, so I got on the bus with the person who was on the back of the motorbike. It was a large bus, and it seemed almost full. There were two Japanese people, and the rest were foreigners. For those who get motion sickness easily, motion sickness medication is necessary as you'll be on the bus for 2-3 hours each way, and also on boats. I took it once in the morning and once in the early afternoon. One bottle of water was distributed on the bus. The tables for eating were random, but everyone was so nice, and we became friends, so we went out for dinner even after the tour ended. I chose the bamboo raft, and it was cool and there was no extra charge, which was great! The bamboo raft doesn't get you wet! The kayak was for two people, and those who participated alone rode with an Indian person they didn't know, lol, and they got quite wet. Be careful, as some people almost capsized and drowned in the kayak! Our guide, Lee, spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable! The cave was also good. On the island, we climbed to the top, but it was very hot...! The steps were steeper than I expected, and it took about 15-20 minutes one way. I bought a cola at the top, but it was expensive, so it's probably better to bring your own drinks. In the evening, the boat turned into a club, and I cooled down while watching people dance and talked to various people. Even participating alone, I made friends and had a great time :) Since you get on and off buses and boats, it's definitely a good idea to take a picture of your number! It was fun, thank you very much!!

We had the most amazing trip to Ha Long Bay with our guide Johnny. From pick up and throughout the entire tour we were kept informed, in the loop and were checked up upon to see if we were having a great time. Ha Long Bay itself was gorgeous and we loved the boat, swimming and being surrounded by beautiful scenery. Lunch was delicious and catered for Vegetarians which was wonderful. We cannot speak highly enough of our trip today, and loved our guide Johnny (Handsome)!

This experience is a must when you visit Hanoi. You will be mesmerized by the beauty of Ha Long Bay. It was worth your money and your time. Our tour guide, Johny Handsome, did his best to show us around and tell us about the Vietnamese way of life. He is one of a kind because he took the initiative to organize everyone (even those not from our group) inside the cave to facilitate the movement of people; otherwise, we would have spent a long time inside. He had energy from the start to the end of the tour, making it more enjoyable for us. Thank you, Johny Handsome, we are very happy to have met you.

It was a well organized tour. The entire trip was enjoyable. The cruise was also nice, including small hike to the cave, the water activity, I enjoyed the kayaking. Mr Dylan was a good guide and the bus was also comfy. The cruise became more lively with sunset party with music and dance.

I chose this tour primarily for its cost-effectiveness, and it was thoroughly satisfying for the price. The tour route is the same; the main differences lie in whether the guide is Korean, the quality of the bus and boat, and the food provided. I don't think it's reasonable to expect significant quality for such a low price. However, the guide spoke English, and although I was worried about the food, it was much tastier than expected. The boat also had three decks, and the tour duration was sufficiently longer than other tours. In particular, our guide, Kimi, was cheerful and kind, and resolved all the issues we encountered during the tour. As a guide, I would give her the highest rating. If you can choose your guide, I recommend taking a tour with Kimi. There weren't many Koreans, but there's no need to be afraid of English, and if you want a high-value-for-money tour, I highly recommend it.

We had the best time in Ha Long Bay - not only because of the scenic and breathtaking views but also because our guide, Mr. Kimi, was fun, knowledgeable and knows how to handle the room with tourists from different places. The tour itself was smooth-sailing and fun. We did pay extra for the drinks on board (so best if you can bring your own - in a refillable cup as plastic bottles are not allowed in Ha Long Bay).

We booked our trip with Reina Day Cruise and were picked up right from Hanoi Center before heading out to the stunning Halong Bay. The entire journey was managed by Johnny Mike, our amazing and fun captain. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized — from the timely pick-up to the smooth drop-off. Johnny took great care of us throughout the trip, always checking in to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. His energy and attention to detail truly made the experience unforgettable. The food served on board was very good, and to our surprise, they even provided tea and snacks towards the end of the trip — a thoughtful touch that we really appreciated. It was worth every penny we spent! A special shoutout to Captain Johnny “Handsome” for making the trip so enjoyable, and to our driver for ensuring a safe and smooth ride back to our locations. Highly recommended! 🌟

Great tour that was hosted by Long.We were kept well informed all the way and he prepared everything for us to have a comfortable trip.We really enjoyed our Halong Bay cruise with Olympus.It has 3 floors,in which it includes a jacuzzi at the upper floor.This is 1 of the highlights in our Vietnam trip. If we visit again next time,I will probably go on the cruise again.Very thankful to our tour guide Long who is very approachable and kind.He even lent us 100kvnd as we want to give a tip to the guy who took us for the bamboo boat ride coz we left our bags in the bus.Hats off to you Long🫡
