Cruzeiro Hera Grand Luxury 2D1N: Baía de Ha Long com Sung Sot e Ti Top

It’s quite a nice experience! We are a family of 4 with a kid & a senior. We are well taken care by the whole crew. The staff is very attentive. The manager Minh is very passionate and professional and Supervisor Jeff is nice too. They have many staff to service 20 guests. All our luggage can be transferred on board from pier. The room is spacious and large enough to open the luggage. If the weather is allowed, you can enjoy the outdoor set dinner on top of the cruise. And kid menu is available too. The vibe and activities are good!

I booked the Hera Grand Luxury Cruise Junior suite but was offered a change and room upgrade to the Amanda Luxury Cruise of Halong Bay and Lan Ha Bay in a Royal Suite. it was wonderful. the ship was comfortable, our room was luxurious and the cruise was well organised. Special callout to our server Ruby for looking after us so well. Loved it!

I am so happy with this trip. Everything is well organized. The cruise was private in the sense that there are only 13 rooms, so if you want an intimate cruise, Hera Grand Cruise is highly recommended. The room is clean and spacious. And yes, all the food served was excellent! When coming to Hanoi, I highly recommend it! Value for your money.

The overall itinerary arrangement was good, but the pick-up service was quite unsettling. We never received a call or message informing us of the pick-up time, and we waited at the hotel all morning. Even the hotel staff started to worry why no car had arrived to pick us up. What's even more outrageous is that when we inquired with the website, the response we received was to email the local reception unit ourselves to ask. This is how the website handles things, which left us speechless.

We were upgraded to Amanda cruise Senior suite last minute. Was a little skeptical at first but luckily turned out good experience. Cruise is clean and well maintained. Dan, the guide is super friendly and made the experience better. Also there was good vegetarian options available.

Pros: Pick-up and drop-off service included, competitive pricing compared to other platforms, spacious and beautiful rooms, good food, especially the first day's lunch and dinner, and a relatively wide variety of activities. Cons: Since the pick-up and drop-off locations were not the same, we needed to confirm if different hotels could be accommodated. We contacted KLOOK for assistance, but they couldn't get a response for several days and advised us to email the vendor directly. Our emails also went unanswered, which made us quite worried about the lack of communication. We finally received a WhatsApp message confirming the next day's pick-up time at around 9 PM the night before departure, which was quite late. We also couldn't reach the vendor to ask any questions during this process, which was a significant drawback. Overall, the outbound journey was by coach, a shared ride, with a stop at a pearl shop. The price was acceptable. Upon arrival at the pier, which was a shared waiting area for HERA CRUISE, LE JOURNEY, and AMADA, it was very crowded, so we waited outside. The cabin was also very large and beautiful. There was a minor leak from the sink, not serious, but noticeable. Other than that, everything was good, though for some reason, there was a slight drain smell on the boat, but it was tolerable. As for the itinerary, it was very rushed. We had lunch immediately after boarding, and half an hour after finishing, we had to gather again to visit Surprise Cave. The cave was large inside, but the entrance was very crowded. It got better once we reached the middle section. After that, we returned to the boat for a short rest, then took a boat to Ti Top Island. We didn't climb to the top, just took photos halfway up; the sunset was beautiful. Then we walked along the beach for a bit before returning to the boat. There was a small amount of complimentary fruit and tea, or we could order drinks with a buy-2-get-1-free offer. Next, we had a spring roll making class. After watching the demonstration, I made and ate one myself, which was quite delicious. Then came dinner. After dinner, activities like squid fishing or foot soaking were available for free. However, the squid fishing was done on a towed dinghy, but there were too many boats nearby, some even singing loudly and causing vibrations, so there were basically no squid, and few people participated. All activities closed promptly at 10:30 PM for rest. The next morning, there was a Tai Chi activity before 6:30 AM, which we didn't join. Breakfast was after 6:45 AM. After eating, we immediately went to Luon Cave. You could take a bamboo raft or paddle a two-person kayak, both free. We didn't kayak because we were afraid of getting wet, but it turned out not to be very wet; some fellow travelers returned completely dry, so kayaking seemed more fun! We returned to the boat, and by about 9:30 AM, we had to check out and head back. On the way back, we enjoyed a simple lunch. Overall, it was very busy with not much time in the room, but it was fulfilling, and with good weather, the sunset was beautiful.
