It's not as easy as you might think. 🫣 A great workshop, well explained. Sometimes it moves a bit too quickly to the next step, but overall, you manage well within the hour.

Absolutely fantastic experience at the Musoshin Noodle Making Workshop! From start to finish, the workshop was fun, interactive, and incredibly authentic. The instructors were patient, friendly, and explained every step clearly, making it enjoyable even for complete beginners. Making the noodles by hand was such a unique cultural experience, and the best part was getting to cook and eat our own delicious ramen afterwards — it honestly tasted amazing! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and you could really feel the passion and craftsmanship behind everything they do. This was one of the highlights of our Japan trip and something we’ll remember for a long time. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Kyoto who wants a hands-on food experience beyond the usual tourist activities. 5 stars without a doubt!

what a fun and memorable class. I was surprised on the amount of sushi that you get. I had planned to go get sushi afterwards because I assumed it would be a small portion. you can definitely plan this as your lunch. lol

We had a wonderful time learning how to cook Ramen and make dumplings. Yukon and Chef Ai were so helpful and sweet. My 10 and 13 year old really enjoyed the experience. If you’re looking for a authentic Ramen experience you should definitely book this class.

had a lovely time making sushi! the hosts were both really sweet and personable. wish I was in Kyoto longer so we could’ve become friends, I loved their energy! The atmosphere was more laid back which I enjoyed.

this was a wonderful experience for our family. I’m a huge ramen fan and this definitely helped me get my family on the bandwagon. The bowl painting was a lovely meditative way to spend a freezing cold morning in Kyoto and Shin (our chef) taught us all about the art of ramen with great passion and humour. The staff were kind and gentle and patient. would strongly recommend for any family.

Superb value for money. we were lucky enough to book a group course and there were just the two of us, the previous day there had been 13!. Coudi was an excellent teacher, brilliant English. we learned some great tips and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. would book again!

Had the best experience ever! Shin & Amir were incredibly funny and made our experience extremely memorable. We got to learn how to make our own tasty ramen, engrave our own chopsticks, and of course, taste the beautiful ramen we made. I am very appreciative that we get to go back home with more culinary knowledge and a deeper appreciation for the Japanese culture. This is the number 1 experience we would recommend if you are in Kyoto. If you want to share a laugh whilst also immersing yourself in the Japanese cooking culture, then this is the experience for you!
