I booked a tour to visit the Nikka Whisky Distillery. When I searched for tour options, Endate Trip was the only one offering a distillery bus tour. This was my second trip to Sapporo, and I was even more satisfied because the itinerary included Cape Kamui. Our group had six people, and we were lucky enough to have the tour to ourselves without joining another group, which made it even more enjoyable. The weather on the tour day was perfect, so we saw the stunning Shakotan Blue sea, and I was a little sad that photos couldn't capture its beauty. After lunch near Yoichi, we started the Nikka Whisky Distillery tour. The Japanese staff kindly explained each area. Our guide had already informed us about a QR code that translated the staff's explanations, so we had no difficulties, and the guide also provided additional explanations along the way, which made it very enjoyable. We also enjoyed tasting three whiskies and the recommended (pork) jerky. Guide Kim In-jae must have had a tiring long drive, but he gave interesting explanations about Sapporo's culture, weather, and tourist attractions, helped us with whisky shopping, and even covered the Otaru tourist spots, which was our last stop. It felt like our second day in Sapporo was perfect. Thank you, Guide Kim In-jae.

This tour offers high-quality yet reasonably priced drinks and seafood, with stunning sea views from Cape Kamui (weather permitting 🤞). The pace of the tour is relaxed. Please note that some attractions do not have baby-friendly facilities, so this tour is more suitable for adults and children who can take care of themselves. The whisky distillery, in particular, offers a wealth of information and a wide selection of souvenirs; it would be ideal to skip the final stop at the outlet and spend a little more time at the distillery instead. Fun and unique experience! Really love it, there are so many pigs and they just love to cuddle with human. They smell alright no bad smell. They just chew the air and they are potty trained so they won’t pee or poop at you 😂. They do poop on the floor but the staff will cleaned it immediately. Highly recommend to go this outlet as it is not crowded.

The tour guide, Hide-san, was very friendly, knowledgeable, and well-spoken. He shared a lot about the spots we visited and about Sapporo and Japan in general. He showed great patience and provided the best of service. It also started to rain mid-tour and I appreciated that he had an umbrella.

This Yoichi and Otaru day trip offered a truly special experience! Traveling with the guide by subway and bus, it felt less like a typical tour bus itinerary and more like navigating the streets and alleys as a local, allowing for a deeper immersion into Hokkaido's daily life and local atmosphere.
The itinerary included visits to a whiskey distillery and a sake brewery, where we not only learned about the brewing process but also witnessed the Japanese artisans' unwavering commitment to quality. Upon arriving in scenic Otaru, we even got to handcraft our own unique music boxes, creating one-of-a-kind travel souvenirs.
Overall, the itinerary was rich in content and full of unique features, combining culture, cuisine, and hands-on experiences. It was incredibly rewarding and a truly unforgettable journey, highly recommended for travelers looking to explore Hokkaido in depth!

This was such an amazing experience ! The best I’ve had since arriving in Japan! Yuki is very nice and welcoming, and she has the cutest cat ever 🥹. We talked a lot and I got to know her - I had a lot of fun making the Wagashi Sweets with her (she’s the best sensei you’ll find). She spoke English pretty well and we didn’t have any trouble understanding each other ! Mine didn’t turn out that great but I was so happy with them and they tasted amazing ! I don’t usually write comments on Klook but if I could I’d rate her a 11/10. I’m really thankful to her for welcoming me into her home (even when I was late) and taking the time to teach me and learn to know me better. I’ll for sure be back !
