Sapporo
The fifth-largest city in Japan, Sapporo has just about everything you would want in a big city: shopping, delicious food, and bustling nightlife, among many others. And though many are in Sapporo for only a day or two as they make their way to Hokkaido, we recommend staying a bit longer for the local experiences if you can spare the time! Some must-visit attractions in the city include the Sapporo TV Tower, the Hitsujigaoka Observation Hill, and Susukino for those wanting to experience the local nightlife scene. Sapporo is typically at its busiest during February when visitors flock to the city to partake in the Snow Festival and in the summertime to feast on beer and delicious eats at the food festivals.

Fantastic 5.0
One of the best hotels our family had booked in Japan. Large room, modern and clean compared to the other hotels. Good location with walking distance JR station and the street cars (Tram) passing the hotel. Very closed to Iconic and shopping street in Sapporo. Availability of room amenities. The staff were very helpfull. Facility was ver good with public and ladies bath. The buffet breakfast was ver good but you need to book in advance or include it in the booking. I highly recommnend this hotel for family.

Fantastic 5.0
The hotel was conveniently located near a train station, just a stone's throw away. It is relatively new, so the place is really clean.
We almost missed the entrance to the hotel because the signage was not very visible or large. The hotel is located inside a building with malls, cinemas, and different establishments.
If you want a stay where you just want to relax and have everything you need at a walking distance, just within the facility, this is highly recommended.
I also appreciate the rooftop deck available at the hotel, where you can see the city lights from the very top floor. It's really cool and surreal.

The room is spacious and value for money. Amenities are available, and the outdoor onsen is amazing. Gym is limited but with lots of walking in Sapporo, it may not be necessary to use. The staff are very helpful and kind.

Fantastic 5.0
May 13 (Wed) - 16 (Fri), 2026, 3 nights and 4 days. #Price: I booked it at an expensive rate. (Paid 620,000 won for a triple room for 3 nights, without breakfast.) - For a triple room without breakfast, around 100,000 won per night would be reasonable. #Location: From the airport, take the JR train to Sapporo Station, then look for Exit 15. It's connected to the building next to the accommodation (something-or-other Japanese building 8.1) via an underground walkway. About a 10-minute walk. #Room Size (Triple Room): Two beds are single size, and one is a short single (for a child?). However, an adult woman, 165cm tall, had no problem sleeping on it. The room size is, as expected, cramped. (Can't open two large suitcases.) But it was nice that the bathroom and toilet were separate. It was very clean, but the carpeted floor made me constantly aware of dust. Cleaning is available daily upon request. Honestly, I'm not sure if they actually did it... haha (runny nose every morning). #Breakfast: I didn't eat it, so I don't know. There are many convenience stores nearby, so breakfast isn't necessary. Seicomart is the best. #Public Bath: It's really small. No outdoor bath. Two small indoor baths. One small sauna. About ten-something seats for washing. It's really small. The hairdryer in the public bath is very loud but doesn't dry hair at all. The hairdryer in the room works better. [Overall Review] It's clear that this is a very well-maintained hotel. It's incredibly clean. The staff were kind. I had a comfortable stay without any inconveniences. However, the price fluctuates a lot, so I was left with the regret that I paid too much.

At least 5 minutes away from Susukino station and less than 10 minutes away from Tanikukoji street. Dinner Bell is nearby, a supermarket that is open 24/7. Free coffee in the lobby.

Fantastic 5.0
Hotel is located about 300m from Sapporo Station. There are 2 Mitsui Hotels, so make sure to check which one you booked but they are just next to each other. Mitsui Garden (West) I think is the older hotel but is well maintained and still look modern. Room is spacious enough compared to other Japan hotels. You can open large luggage on the floor and still can move around. Snacks (chocolate, biscuits, chips and drinks) are available for all guests at the lounge. There is no complimentary early check in. And you need to pay city tax upon arrival. Overall stay is good.
