It's a bit unusual to find an aquarium with penguins in the middle of the city, so this was a welcome surprise. We were lucky to make it in time for the feeding of the penguins. They also have jellyfishes and other sea creatures. Overall, it was a good rest and break from a busy day.

It was great to see the adorable penguins up close. Regardless of the weather, it's located in the heart of downtown Susukino, so I went to see the penguins while my friends were browsing Don Quijote. If you make a reservation in advance, you can visit anytime on the designated day without having to specify a time. It was nice to have dinner and take a leisurely stroll to visit! Be sure to check out the penguins on the 6th floor! Highly recommended!

I enjoyed my visit to AOAO Sapporo. I was very happy that the signs and write-ups for each animal were both in Japanese and English. My primary purpose of going here was to see the penguins but there were also other fascinating animals here. It was also nice that they had a cafe and sitting area near the penguins. The collaboration with SpongeBob was also cute - with the figures from the cartoon adoring several tanks and locations.
It was easy to buy and use tickets from Klook.

Although the place is small, it has everything you need. Located in the central shopping area of Susukino Tanukikoji in Sapporo, it's a great place to visit and rest when you're tired from walking. Plus, the penguin exhibit alone is worth the trip. You can get incredibly close to the penguins, and there are no barriers.

I highly recommend this place if you come to Sapporo Susukino. It's not very big, but there's quite a bit to see, and the aquarium is clean and well-maintained. I even got to do some gacha and had fun because they were collaborating with Pingu. lol

Awesome aquarium! The entrance is on the fourth floor. Once inside, just scan the Klook voucher. It doesn't feel like a typical aquarium; it's more like an art center. Very impressive, like visiting an exhibit. Absolutely beautiful. The souvenirs are great too; I unintentionally spent thousands! 🤣🤣🤣
