The tour guide's arrangements were very smooth, and their time management was superb, making the entire journey relaxed and stress-free. Along the way, they would introduce upcoming attractions and important notes in advance, which helped us understand the itinerary better and built anticipation. Absolutely stunning tour. Out tour guide, Linda, was so sweet, knowledgeable, and made the tour even more fun. She even helped us with getting to the bullet train station afterwards, which she did not have to do. All the locations we went to was beautiful! Definitely recommend this tour. :D

Having a small group tour is better than the big one (bus). There's always communication with everyone. Our guide, Lee, is kind & drives carefully. Even though it was raining, the Mr Lee still stops at every place listed on the itinerary. He tries to explain history or bit & pieces of the places we've been. Overall, it was a good experience. Just a bit sad because we haven't seen Mt Fuji coz it was raining 😞

Best Guide Won Yang!!!!! Hakone & Mt. Fuji One-Day Tour Review 🗻 (feat. The Best Guide Ever) As the highlight of my Tokyo trip, I went on a Hakone & Mt. Fuji one-day tour. It was the most memorable day of this trip, and at the heart of it was our incredibly kind guide, Won Yang!!! From the early morning meeting point in Shinjuku, our guide greeted each person with a bright smile and took care of us. On the bus ride, they explained the history of Mt. Fuji and various sights and information about Hakone, so there was never a dull moment. It wasn't just about guiding us to places; they also thoughtfully provided detailed information in advance, like the best times to use the restroom and how long until the next activity, which made us feel very comfortable. The itinerary was packed, including a Hakone cruise and a hot spring village, making me wonder how it was possible to fit so much into one day. Yet, the guide's expertise ensured the schedule was well-distributed so we didn't feel tired. What was most impressive was their attitude towards people. They patiently waited for the elderly members of our group to match their walking pace and answered even small questions with a smile, never showing any sign of annoyance. On the way back, despite what must have been a tiring day, their bright voice and dedication to getting us back safely felt truly sincere. It made me realize how much meeting a good guide can transform the quality of a trip. If you're considering a Hakone & Mt. Fuji tour, I highly, highly recommend Guide Won Yang. To our guide who led us today, thanks to you, it was an unforgettable day. Thank you so much, and please stay healthy! 🙏🗻🎈❤️💓💖💕😄😄

Great experience! Laner Jin was an awesome tour guide, very knowledgable and helpful when we had questions! We got lucky with the weather today and Mt. Fuji showed herself to us a few times! She was playing hide and seek with the clouds but we were able to get a few pics with her. We also were able to pick up some souvenirs and even brought back some water straight from Mt. Fuji! The Gotemba Premium Outlets was a plus and we got to kill two birds with one stone with this day trip! Good stores and really good deals! Would definitely recommend if you want to sightsee and shop!

What to know before visiting Fujiyoshida

Quick snapshot of Fujiyoshida and what to expect

Fujiyoshida centres on outdoor activities, tours and theme-park style experiences, with cultural experiences and attraction passes also popular. Demand swings through the year—spring sees the busiest bookings while late summer and early autumn are much quieter.

Best times to visit and how prices move

Klook booking data shows demand peaks in April and drops to its lowest point in August and September. Prices drift modestly across the year: according to Klook data December is typically the cheapest month while January tends to be the priciest. If you want smaller crowds and lower typical prices, December and the quiet late-summer months are better; for peak-season atmosphere plan for April. Demand and prices don’t move perfectly together here—April is notably busy while the highest typical prices are recorded in January.

Tips for travellers from Singapore

Most travellers from Singapore book about nine days in advance on average, with last‑minute options often available a day out and earlier planners booking around three weeks ahead. If you’re travelling for lower prices and lighter crowds, aim for December or late summer; if you prefer the liveliest conditions, target April. Use Klook to lock in tours or theme-park tickets a week or two ahead for peace of mind, or grab last‑minute options if your schedule is flexible.
