What to expect
This is an Instagram-worthy route designed for Mount Fuji, where almost every stop is a viral photo spot on INS 📸🗻.
- The journey begins at Arakurayama Sengen Park (sightseeing only; no religious activities). Climb 397 steps to capture Mount Fuji, the Chureito Pagoda, and the townscape below in one shot. Whether it’s cherry blossoms, fresh greenery, autumn leaves, or snow, this is a classic “must-photograph” spot. From above, overlooking Fujiyoshida City, the city and nature unfold layer by layer, creating a truly cinematic view.
- Next, head to the wildly popular Hikawa Clock Shop to capture the “stairway to Mount Fuji” in a quiet Japanese street. At the end of the street, Mount Fuji stands serenely, where daily life and world-class scenery blend seamlessly, creating a photo that instantly says “Japan, at the foot of Mount Fuji” 🏔️.
- Then, step into Oshino Hakkai, known as the “Jiuzhaigou at the foot of Mount Fuji.” The crystal-clear spring water reflects the blue sky, white clouds, and Mount Fuji, with a transparency that seems unreal. Wooden houses, small bridges, flowing water, and distant mountains intertwine, making every casual shot a healing Japanese masterpiece 🍃.
- The Instagram-famous Lawson convenience store frames Mount Fuji with the most ordinary street scene, simple yet highly recognizable.
- Oishi Park, in summer, adorns Mount Fuji with purple lavender, and in autumn, with red kochia, creating a seasonal foreground of flowers 🌸. If you visit during a limited season, you can also go to the Kawaguchiko Cherry Blossom Festival (March 28 to April 12) or the Maple Corridor (November 1-30) to capture cherry blossoms or red maple leaves with Mount Fuji, unlocking a once-a-year limited view.
- The entire route revolves around Mount Fuji, offering multiple angles, seasons, and compositions, from high-altitude views, distant street views, lakeside shots, to natural close-ups. It truly allows you to "shoot wherever you go," making it an Instagram-worthy Mount Fuji trip designed specifically for stunning photos ✨.

Reviews summaryThis Mount Fuji day trip was absolutely worth it and one of the highlights of my first trip to Japan! Our tour guide, Sia, was amazing. She speaks excellent English, explained the history and traditions of each place clearly, and made the tour both informative and fun. We visited several beautiful spots, including Lake Kawaguchiko, and the itinerary was perfectly planned with just the right amount of time at each stop. The lunch was delicious, and Sia made sure everyone’s orders and seating were well organized. She was also incredibly friendly, approachable, and always nearby if anyone had questions or needed help. She even made the trip more enjoyable by adding games during the tour and surprised me with a free Mount Fuji postcard, which was such a thoughtful gesture. I would definitely book this tour again, especially if Sia is the tour guide. Highly recommended!
we had tour guide Asa from gogoday, she seemed a little shy at first but very good in english and helps take your photos.. suggesting the best photo spots and poses... appreciate her a lot and we had soooo much fun..
Absolutely stunning tour. Out tour guide, Linda, was so sweet, knowledgeable, and made the tour even more fun. She even helped us with getting to the bullet train station afterwards, which she did not have to do. All the locations we went to was beautiful! Definitely recommend this tour. :D
olivia was such an incredible tour guide!! she was so knowledgeable, explained everything extremely clearly & made us all laugh throughout our tour every chance she got!! she has such a kind & welcoming aura about her & i definitely recommend her & her company. this was a 10/10 experience; went to the most beautiful spots, ate the yummiest lunch & snacks throughout the day & truly could not have asked for a better first experience :)
We joined this Mount Fuji tour on June 22, and we were incredibly lucky to have a clear view of Mount Fuji! It was such an unforgettable experience. Our guide, Kerry, was wonderful—she shared many helpful tips, took us to the best photo spots, and was so kind, friendly, and attentive throughout the day. Everything was well organized, and I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Japan. Thank you, Kerry, for making our trip so special!
Firstly, I want to thank Linda, our guide, for her kindness and her explanations about all the places we went to. We were lucky to see Mount Fuji and I appreciated seeing it from different wonderful places. I would definitely recommend !
Before departure, the tour guide will send a message to confirm the meeting point, which might be on a Saturday. It takes about 4 hours to reach the first attraction, and there are no restrooms along the way, so remember to use the facilities before we set off! Our Chinese-speaking tour guide, Mr. Li Hanshan, took excellent care of us. At each attraction, he clearly instructed us on the meeting time and location. At popular photo spots, he even acted as a photographer, teaching us how to pose one by one. Even with many people around, he diligently helped us take individual and group photos. He was also able to accommodate vegetarian lunch requests. Although a significant portion of the trip was spent traveling, visiting so many attractions and having a 'photographer' help with pictures made it very worthwhile.😊
was a great day out, our tour guide jalen was extremely helpful and dedicated to helping us get the best photos possible. mt Fuji decided to come say hi towards the end of the trip which was a blessing.
This Mount Fuji tour was absolutely amazing and one of the highlights of my trip to Japan! Everything was well organised, the scenery was breathtaking, and we had plenty of time to enjoy each stop without feeling rushed. The best part of the experience was our guide, Linda. She was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole day so much fun. She shared interesting facts about the places we visited, kept everyone informed, and was always happy to answer questions. Her positive energy and kindness made the tour even more memorable. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you’re thinking about doing a Mount Fuji tour, I highly recommend this one—and if you’re lucky enough to have Linda as your guide, you’re in for an unforgettable day!
Really appreciated the punctuality of the tour. Tour was scheduled to start at 8 and we departed at 8, as promised. Sia was very friendly and polite. We could not see the Mt. Fuji, unfortunately… due to the cloudy weather.
