Kaohsiung Tours

Hands down one of the best tours ive made in Taiwan. Tourguide Eric was so accomodating and despite his age, still keeps up with the challenge of trekking while explaining the history of Alishan. Also, he took very good care of the passengers who were motion sick and vomited during the long and winding drive. Alishan on the other hand was breath taking! Will definetly go back when have chance.

We had an amazing time on this tour! The itinerary was perfectly planned and gave us a great overview of Kaohsiung’s most iconic sights without feeling rushed. What truly made the experience exceptional was our tour guide, Victor. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly passionate about the city. Victor shared fascinating history, local stories, and helpful tips that really brought each location to life. He was also very attentive and made sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying the tour. This tour is a fantastic way to experience Kaohsiung in one day, especially with a guide like Victor. Highly recommended!

Overall I really enjoyed this tour for Kenting. There was a bit of a struggle to understand the english of the tour, but you can tell that the guide actually loves the place and is trying her best effort. You can use on speaker translation, or samsung interpreter if ever. I also think that the language used for the tour is based of the majority of the tourists. I think we have 1 Japanese at the tour that time and the guide only spoke Chinese/English so I am not sure if she enjoyed it. The travel was smooth too and the schedule is accurate. If you want to venture the whole museum of biology though, I suggest you book a different tour. Still, the different stops were worth the time. The view was so nice and I get to learn a part of Kenting's history and culture. They also give free water for the travel.

the trip was very comfortable and enjoyable. Our guide, Stella was so funny and very helpful. Moon world and Peir 2 were the highlights of the tour. I was travelling in this tour with my mum and she enjoyed it too.

The guide was excellent! We met at the First Bank at 9:00 AM and then drove for 3.5 hours to Alishan, with a few stops along the way. Once we arrived in Alishan, we had lunch and then began exploring this beautiful forest together. The guide knows this vast forest perfectly, with its rich history and numerous trees. Around 3:30 PM, we enjoyed some teas grown in this beautiful forest. We started our return journey around 4:00 PM and arrived back in town around 7:30 PM. I 100% recommend this guide, who is kind, an expert in his field, and we had a lot of fun together. We were a group of four, which made for a great sense of camaraderie. Thank you again, Mr. Guide!

It was a nice experience if you want a stress free trip going around the city. I had fun going on a “roadtrip” as it was a unique experience. The tour was educational and fun. Our guide Mr. Charlie is also very patient and knowledgeable. He also took the initiative to take pictures of us which I found helpful especially if you’re a solo traveler. Thank you for this experience!

Great and easy way to explore the Tainan area but you have to prepare extra money since entrance fees aren’t included. We ended up paying about 540NTD each in entrance fees for all the places we went to.

The combination of the multigrain area and the sugar factory is nostalgic and fun. The percussion band performance is like watching a concert, which young people should like very much. The factory area itself is also suitable for children to run around, and there is also an indoor children's play area, making it a good place to let children have fun. The wind on the top of Qigu Salt Mountain is very strong, and the wind blows the hair into a mess, and the children scream and go crazy. Jingzaijiao Salt Mountain is very beautiful, with an experience area where children can organize their own small salt mountains and play until they are glued and can't be pulled away. Dadong Night Market is very easy to stroll around. The crowds on weekdays are just right and not crowded, and the food is also okay. There are also many night market games for you to play non-stop, so be sure to keep your wallet tight. Finally, the tour guide arranged the itinerary very smoothly, and the timing was also very good. It was a good itinerary and is highly recommended!
