The tour is nice and the guide was giving a lot of information. However, this one should be highlighted that it is in Chinese ONLY. I can understand some part of the introduction but the experience would have been nicer if I know that this is in Chinese only, no English. I would remember to check all the earlier review before booking a tour now.

The Kaohsiung Love River cruise was a really great value travel itinerary. I was very satisfied because I could slowly move along the river at an affordable price and enjoy the urban scenery, the seaside, and the city's splendid night view of Kaohsiung at a glance. In particular, the atmosphere when the lights started to turn on one by one after sunset was so impressive that it was difficult to capture it all in photos. Most of all, it was even more meaningful because my parents were so satisfied that they said, "This was the best trip of all." I would highly recommend it as a travel itinerary for elderly people, as they can sit comfortably and enjoy the night view.

I recommend taking the cruise during two time slots: one to admire the magical golden-red colors of the sunset reflecting on the water, and the other to appreciate the tranquility and mystery of the city illuminated with lights at night. We took the 6:00-6:10 PM departure during the summer solstice and were lucky enough to witness the beautiful sunset glow reflected on the Love River, as the sun slowly set into the sea at the Great Harbor Bridge. Backpackers can take the Orange Line to MRT Central Park Station, Exit 1, and transfer to bus 168 West Loop Line (station name: Zihqiang Zhongjheng Rd. Intersection) for 2 stops to reach the Love Boat Ambassador Pier.

The booth is easy to find despite being a long walk away from either Love or Glory Pier. Our batch boarded the ferry around 4:30 pm so the view was nice. Although our guide only spoke in Mandarin, she made sure to help us foreigners follow along. Overall it was a seamless process. I recommend buying your tickets from Klook because it's more expensive to pay on site.

Recently, Ji Kawa in Kaohsiung's Love River Bay is crowded everywhere. We recommend that you take the "Kaohsiung Love Boat" to take a relaxing look. The driver will drive to Ji Kawa and Xiao Ba specifically for you to take as many photos as you want, leaving behind the most unique photo on the water. The whole journey takes 25 minutes including a guided tour. Along the way, you will pass by special attractions such as the Kaohsiung Music Center, the Pier-2 Art Center, the Dagang Bridge, and the coral reefs. There are also some water bird ecosystems that can only be seen by taking a boat. Especially for those with children and elders, you can see them all in one go without walking for half a day.
