Fantastic 5.0
Being away from the train station brought a vacation vibe. I was honored to be upgraded to a sea-view room for my two-night stay, and I'm truly grateful 🙏. The spacious lobby immediately felt comfortable, and there's a reading room in the loft, offering a relaxing space. Entering the sea-view room was refreshing, and the wooden floors gave it a homey feel. There's also a game room on the 8th floor where kids can burn off energy. Breakfast was still plentiful, and being able to enjoy it after checking out added to the leisurely experience. The only minor drawback was the lack of bicycle rentals, but that doesn't detract from an otherwise excellent stay!

Fantastic 5.0
The rooms have been renovated recently and are very new and comfortable. However, the breakfast was mediocre, and the restrooms in the lobby on the first floor were not very clean. Everything else was good, including the free shuttle service to the train station and the city bus stop nearby.

Fantastic 5.0
The hotel's front desk staff were very friendly and proactively informed us that the parking spaces outside the hotel were paid, which was very thoughtful. The hotel provides breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening snacks for guests (including fruit, braised pork rice, cold noodles, taro savory porridge, Danzai noodles, Danzai rice vermicelli, sweet soup, beer, tea jelly, coffee jelly, steamed buns with meat filling, curry, etc.). It's very rich and could essentially serve as dinner. The room lighting is ample and the room is clean, and the bed is very comfortable. The only minor drawback is that the mattress has very poor motion isolation; if someone else in the same bed turns over or moves, you can feel the entire bed moving. It's best to choose a room with two single beds to ensure a good night's sleep.

Service: There's a shuttle bus to and from Farglory Park. After returning to the hotel, children can burn off some energy at the Ricky Vitality Center after dinner, while adults can play billiards downstairs. The stay includes breakfast, which is delicious. Both the daytime sea view and the nighttime city view are incredibly beautiful.

As the hotel name suggests, everything is perfect. The service is attentive and friendly, making it an ideal choice for complete relaxation and a good rest. The dining options are diverse and plentiful, and the resort grounds are beautifully and thoughtfully designed, offering a unique and exquisite experience whether you visit during the day or at night.

Fantastic 5.0
It's fantastic! Everything was great, except for the 23-minute walk from the train station. The swimming pool is an infinity pool, and there's also a steam room and sauna. The breakfast was delicious, and it's really thoughtful that it's available until 1:30 PM. Bicycles are also available for rent (though you can't shift to a heavier gear, so they're a bit hard to ride). The room was spacious, and the bathtub was large and very comfortable. Breakfast: Delicious! Highly recommended! And it's available until 1:30 PM. Service: Thoughtful, and you can still use the facilities after checking out. Hotel Location: It's a bit of a walk from Xincheng Train Station. Cleanliness: Superb, very clean!

Fantastic 5.0
This stay in the Japanese-Western style ocean view room was fantastic. It was very spacious, featuring a large king-size bed, a Japanese-style living area, two sinks, a separate shower and toilet, and an oversized bathtub. Being on a high floor, it offered a stunning view of Hualien Port. The amenities and space were truly impressive. I paid an extra fee for an additional futon and breakfast for one person, which was well worth it. We were on the 15th floor. The hotel also has a well-equipped swimming pool and gym, and in the basement, there are table tennis, billiards, and children's arcade games. We could take our time enjoying breakfast until noon, which was a very thoughtful touch. Both my family's elders and I were extremely satisfied with this trip. If you're looking to enjoy ocean views, I highly recommend it; you can directly watch the dawn break and the sunrise. If you plan to explore the city, you'll need to arrange transportation. For enjoying the hotel and the sea view, it's highly recommended.

We had a great stay at this hotel in Hualien. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was also spotless. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. A big plus was that both dinner and breakfast were included, with plenty of food options. We also loved the free mini bar available in the lobby until 9pm and the complimentary laundry facilities. The location was also very convenient, just a 5-minute walk to the train and bus stations. Overall, it was really worth staying here.

Very close to the train station for those that want to me close. And the free snacks was a wonderful perk. Staff were courteous and the environment in the lobby is lovely. The rooms were also great.

What to know before visiting Hualien

Quick snapshot of Hualien County and what to expect

Hualien County draws most bookings for theme parks, outdoor and sports activities, and tours, with water activities and zoos also popular. Demand follows a clear seasonal rhythm: it peaks in September and tapers to a low in December, so the year mixes busy high-season weekends with quieter winter months.

Best times to visit and how prices behave

According to Klook booking data, demand crests in September and is lowest in December; nearby high-demand months include August and October, while early-year months run quieter. Prices are relatively steady through the main travel season—July to October—with October typically showing the lowest Klook prices and January usually the priciest. For lower prices and smaller crowds, aim for October or the quieter winter months; if you want the peak-season atmosphere and busiest activity choices, plan for September or late summer.

Tips for travellers from the Philippines

Most travellers from the Philippines typically book activities only a couple of days ahead, so Hualien suits a spontaneous short trip and many experiences can be arranged shortly before departure. If you’re traveling in the busier months named above, consider locking key activities in earlier—around a week or so—to secure popular time slots on Klook.
