Fantastic 5.0
We had a great time exploring Chiayi, Alishan, and Sun Moon Lake, thanks to our guide, Mrs. Joanna Lin. She was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, warm, and patient with us at every stop. The only issue was the transportation. A Toyota Wish for four passengers felt too tight and uncomfortable for the long travel hours involved in this itinerary. Upgrading to a slightly larger vehicle would make this trip perfect. Thank you to Joanna for being such a wonderful guide!

We had an amazing time on the 2D1N tour with Joanne! She is such an approachable, knowledgeable and amazing guide. Throughout the trip, she shared interesting information about the places we visited and other useful insights, making the experience even more enjoyable. The views were stunning, and the rides were so much fun! Everything made for a memorable experience. Highly recommend this tour, especially with Joanne as the guide! 😊

One of our group day-tours got cancelled, but we were still able to go to Taipei 101 since we reserved tickets. This was one the highlights of our trip to Taiwan. The tower itself is more beautiful and magnificent in person. Even looking up at it from the street was such a sight to see. YouTube videos and postcards do not do it justice. We had access to the 89th Obseravatory Floor and it was worth it. We were able to get pictures prior to getting on the elevator. The 89th floor offered 360 degree views of Taipei and it was glorious. We were there around 5:45 to 6:45 pm and that was perfect for a golden sunset. The floor had a flux of photogenic backgrounds and props, some adorable cafes and treats, a souvenir shop, the Tuned Mass Dumper section, and the elevators to go up and down the tower. This was an unforgettable experience and easily topped some of my prior tower visits in the USA.

Taipei Zoo & Maokong Gondola Combo Review Combining the Taipei Zoo with the Maokong Gondola was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Taipei, offering incredible value and seamless booking. We started our morning exploring the zoo’s massive, lush grounds—getting up close with the giant pandas and walking through the impressive Pangolin Dome rainforest. Booking through Klook made entry effortless, letting us skip the main ticket lines using a quick QR code scan, which saved us so much time on a busy day. Right from inside the zoo, we boarded the Maokong Gondola. The 30-minute ride provided breathtaking, panoramic views over the lush mountain canopy and the distant Taipei 101 skyline. Ending the trip with a relaxed pot of local Tieguanyin oolong tea and tea-flavored ice cream at a hillside teahouse made for the perfect afternoon escape from the bustling city center. A must-do experience for families, couples, and solo travelers alike!

We had a great time exploring Yehliu, Shifen, and Jiufen! Despite being a big group, everyone enjoyed the tour. Each place had its own unique charm, and our guide, Tristant, made the experience even better! He was lively, friendly, and approachable, and shared lots of interesting and useful information along the way. Definitely a memorable experience!

Fantastic 5.0
Booking our tickets online right before entering Taipei Zoo turned out to be a great move, as paying in PHP was noticeably cheaper than purchasing directly in NTD at the gate. The zoo grounds are massive, beautifully maintained, and offer incredible value, but timing is everything when visiting. Arriving at 1:00 PM already put us on a tight schedule, and an unexpected two-hour rainstorm completely stalled our plans. Because of the weather delay and the sheer size of the park, we weren't able to explore the entire zoo, but we definitely plan to visit again on our next trip to Taipei. For anyone planning a visit, I strongly recommend buying your tickets online in advance for the best rate, arriving right when the park opens, and packing umbrellas so a sudden downpour won't cut your day short.

Good place to spend a whole day. start from the top and work your way down. the collection is ordered from earliest period on the top floor, and later pieces on lower floors. public transport to get there is easy and cheaper then the sight seeing bus. there are so many pieces there you might want to come another day to see the rest. Do eat before coming here as there is only a small cafe that is constantly crowded. Besides their most popular pieces that people seem to like to view, you will find other pieces you will like I found the gate cups to be the ones I prefer over the popular pieces.

What to know before visiting Taipei

What to do and when to go

Taipei’s strongest draws on Klook are Events & shows, followed by Tours, Massages, Observation decks and Museums, and these shape the city’s rhythm through the year. Klook booking data shows demand peaks in April, when festivals and seasonal events lift visitor numbers, while August is the quietest month. Plan around those rhythms: choose April for a lively, event-filled trip and quieter months for a more relaxed pace. Decide whether you want festival energy or calmer streets — Klook booking data helps you see when each mood appears.

Best months to visit and price patterns

Demand on Klook peaks in April, with bookings roughly +45% above a typical month, while August is the trough, about −40% below typical demand; these are historical patterns. Prices drift through the year: the priciest month on Klook was July with a median around PHP 1,189, and the lowest median was June at PHP 654, a roughly 45% gap between cheapest and priciest months. Demand and price sometimes move together (busy summer months with higher prices) and sometimes diverge (April’s high demand without the July price peak). For fewer crowds and lower typical prices, aim for June or the quieter autumn months; for peak-season atmosphere pick April.

Where to stay around the city

Klook hotel booking data shows Wanhua is the most affordable district with a typical nightly rate around PHP 4,400, while Beitou is the priciest at about PHP 8,979, a gap of roughly 51% between them. Cheaper districts tend to suit travellers focused on budget-conscious exploring, longer stays or more flexible itineraries; pricier districts suit those wanting a quieter, possibly more resort-style stay or higher-end hotel comforts. Klook booking data highlights this range so you can pick a district that matches your comfort and budget priorities.

Tips for travellers from the Philippines

Most travellers from the Philippines book about 2 days ahead, while the earliest planners book roughly 10 days out, according to Klook booking data. That means you can often stay flexible and secure experiences close to travel, but in high-demand months such as April it pays to lock popular activities earlier. Use Klook to check median prices and availability, add bookings for must-do events in advance, and leave optional experiences for short-notice plans — the platform’s historical booking patterns can help you balance planning and spontaneity.
