It was a very fun and enjoyable night. We partied non-stop until 4 AM. I thought it might be awkward since I was the only Korean person, but the guides took great care of me, and everyone who participated was so cheerful and welcoming, which I really appreciated. The language barrier wasn't much of an issue at all. Everyone should definitely give it a try! The wild party at the club will be an unforgettable memory. (Seriously!)

the tour is very informative and entertaining! our tour guide is a cheerful lady who is also passionate and talkative. She gave an delightful presentation about the history of the brewery, along with Taiwan’s industrial history. The tour ends with a unforgettable experience of extracting beers as much as we want directly from the tanks, which tasted so fresh that nothing in the market can compare with. I highly recommend this tour to everyone who loves beer and happy drinks! Hoo-Tah-Lah!

We had a fantastic time with Chiu at the markets. She had wonderful recommendations and even got us access to smaller portions so we could try everything. Aside from the food, we were also given a rundown of the temple and recommendations for the rest of our trip in Taiwan. Would definitely recommend Chiu for anyone’s first time in Taiwan!

Fantastic 5.0
Visited after shopping near Zhongshan Station. Purchased a ticket and went in as a walk-in. Was seated immediately. The interior is clean and quite modern, giving off a high-end spa vibe. There are some restaurants and karaoke bars in the surrounding area, but since I didn't go at night, it didn't matter. I got a 60-minute full-body massage. The masseur was a male. I initially thought it might be too weak since I was worried about pain, but after getting it, I felt it was quite refreshing without being irritating, and it felt great. It was refreshing. I even snored. However, when I was changing clothes at the beginning, he smelled a bit like cigarettes, as if he had just smoked, which was a little disappointing. It would have been better if he had washed his hands. Everything else was good. After finishing, they gave me sweet mung bean soup and snacks. If it hadn't been too far from my accommodation, I would have gotten another massage. Recommended.

What to know before visiting Taipei

What Taipei is best known for

Taipei's busiest bookings on Klook concentrate on Events & shows, then Tours, Massages, Observation decks and Museums, shaping how the year feels for visitors. Klook booking data shows demand builds to a spring high in April driven by events and city sightseeing, while quieter late-summer months see fewer bookings. If you want lively cultural nights and lots of guided experiences, aim for the busier period; if you prefer calmer galleries, observation decks and relaxed spa time, consider the quieter months. Decide between peak atmosphere or a quieter visit. Based on Klook booking data.

Best months to visit Taipei

April is the clearest peak for demand, and August is the quietest month: Klook booking data records April as a busier month and August as noticeably quieter. Prices over the last 12 months drifted up toward September then fell to their low in April; the two trends diverge in spring, when demand is high but prices are typically lower than the autumn high. For lower prices and smaller crowds, consider visiting in April or the quieter late-summer months; for peak-season atmosphere, target April or December when activity is livelier on Klook.

Month Demand Level Typical Price

October Quieter than usual USD 24
November About average USD 21
December Busier than usual USD 20

Demand is bookings in that month compared with a typical month, from historical Klook booking data, grouped into the demand levels above; typical price is the median paid on Klook in that month; prices are shown with their currency code. Based on Klook booking data, July 2025 – June 2026.

Where to stay in Taipei by price

Klook hotel booking data shows Wanhua is the most affordable district with a typical nightly rate of USD 74, while Beitou is the priciest at USD 151, a gap of roughly 51%. Travelers seeking lower nightly costs often choose the more affordable district for budget-conscious sightseeing and straightforward city access; the pricier district tends to suit those after a quieter, upscale or wellness-focused stay. Klook booking data underpins these typical nightly rates and the percentage gap between the districts.

Tips for travellers from the United States

Most travellers from the United States book Taipei experiences fairly close to their travel date—on average about 2 days ahead—while the earliest planners reserve roughly 15 days out. That means you can be flexible and often book a day or two before arrival, but in busier months such as April and December it's smart to plan sooner. Use Klook to compare options and lock in experiences that matter to you, especially for popular events and guided tours; Klook booking data shows when demand jumps and helps you pick the right moment to reserve.
