Some noise are observed during crucial hours. There are some banging noises on the hallway. Some staff are not smiling and looks hard to approach. But we still had a good stay anyways.

breakfast: great, hotpot style cleanliness: clean and has great amenities hotel location: close to everything you need service: love the place every thing is easy and especially love the luggage storage they do. I was still able to roam the city without having to worry about my luggage before heading home

A solid place to stay at budget cost. It’s around 10 min walk from bus and train stations. Quiet enough at night. Can borrow an umbrella for 500 NTD deposit each. No gym. Paid self service laundry. Free water refills at 2nd floor. Super close to Ximending, Red house and must try food gems!

10/10 stay!! we booked 2 rooms, one through agoda and one through klook. i got the king room through klook while i booked the twin room via agoda. the twin room was actually much more spacious than the king room! the only downside is there’s no bidet 😭 but honestly it didn’t bother us that much. still a 10/10 stay haha. they also let us store our luggage after check out since we had a red eye flight which was super helpful. my mom was too tired to keep exploring so she was able to relax in the lobby for a few hours after we checked out. we also freshened up before heading to the airport and used the lobby restroom which made the wait so much more comfortable. it’s around a 7-10 minute walk to ximending station and honestly we always enjoyed the walk from the hotel. the area feels safe, lively, and super convenient. would definitely stay here again 🤍

Really loved my whole stay here, just right at the heart of wanhua district. Near Taipei Main Station and Ximen, ximending walking district. Staff were very accomodating. Lobby is aesthetic and relaxing. Near convenience store and good local food.

We had a great stay at Hotel Papa Whale. The location was very convenient, with easy access to public transportation, restaurants, and nearby attractions. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it a relaxing place to rest after a day of exploring. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help whenever we had questions. Check-in and check-out were quick and hassle-free. We also appreciated the unique industrial-style design of the hotel, which gave it a modern and stylish atmosphere. Overall, Hotel Papa Whale offers excellent value for money. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Taipei.
