Availed this attraction via Kaohsiung Pass and initially reserved it for the next day visit. However, as the venue is still open at around 6-6:30 PM, the counter staff was very kind to admit me for the day. It is still good to visit around to get history on the former British consulate itself and the great views after sunset.
I mananged to see the Kaohsiung Port and the Tuntex Sky Tower from the Consulate. The view was spectacular. Just be careful with the monkeys on the way up. They can be quite aggressive when they see you hold food. Don't run away, just move slowly so you won't trigger them. I think I saw about 7-8 monkeys as I climbed up the stairs.
It was 9 yuan cheaper than buying tickets on site and also came with stickers. An aunt passing by asked why she also bought a ticket but didn’t get a sticker. Now wherever you buy tickets, you have to write Klook to compare prices. It's beautiful to climb up the hill, enjoy the cool breeze, see historical figures, and review social studies for sixth graders. Try the drinks at the Classic Rose Garden, but there are too many people queuing for meals. There are also hand-shaken drinks at the Rose Garden downstairs, so just buy the ticket I bought the voucher and drank it. But my peach tea didn’t loosen up, and the powdery taste wasn’t very good…
very easy to redeem! we just showed our qr code to the staff and they gave us the actual ticket and also some cool stuff like stickers! the view from here is very nice especially during sunset
Amazing view and my whole family enjoyed the tea and scenery! Just a bit of complication with the coupon redemption as I bought two and they thought it was only one. Other than that it was great.
