Guide
- Built in 1814 by Zhang Tingqin, a candidate instructor from Fengshan who was a tribute student, and listed as a third-class historical site in 1985.
- In those days, it had 37 rooms. Originally, Wenchang, Kuichang, and Cang Sheng were enshrined in the courtyard, along with desks and chairs. It was a place for students to study and take annual exams in ancient times.

Located next to the City God Temple, Fongyi Academy was built in 1814 and designated as a third-class historical site in 1985. It was built by Zhang Tingqin, a candidate instructor from Fengshan. In the past, it had 37 rooms, and the academy originally enshrined the gods of Wenchang, Kuichang, and Cang Sheng, and also had tables and chairs. It was a place for students to study and take annual exams in ancient times. The architectural details are very sophisticated, and it is also the largest existing academy in Taiwan.

- Tuesday to Friday: 10:30-17:30 (Ticket sales close at 17:00)
- Saturday, Sunday, and National Holidays: 10:30-18:30 (Ticket sales close at 18:00)
- Restaurant Hours: Weekdays until 17:00, Holidays until 18:00
- Closed: Mondays, or when Kaohsiung City announces office closures due to weather conditions.
- No meal redemption on closed days.

Transportation
- Train: Fengshan Railway Station → Walk along Caogong Road past Caogong Elementary School → Turn left onto Fengming Street.
- MRT: Orange Line O12 Fengshan Station Exit 2 → Walk along Guangyuan Road → Turn right onto Caogong Road and then onto Fengming Street (6-minute walk). Orange Line O13 Dadong Station Exit 2 → Walk along Guangyuan Road → Turn left onto Fengshan Zhongzheng Road and then onto Fengming Street (8-minute walk).
- Nearby Parking Lots: Dadong Arts Center, Sanmin Parking Lot, Xinyi Parking Lot
- Nearby Motorcycle Parking: Visitors on motorcycles, please park on the sidewalk of Caogong Road, next to the police station and the wall of Caogong Elementary School.
- Tour Bus: Please temporarily park on the yellow line zone on the roadside in front of Caogong Elementary School on Caogong Road for drop-off (limited to 3 minutes), and visitors can then walk into Fongyi Academy on Fengming Street.
