Red Barn Factory & Tours Ticket in Kaohsiung

Very fun experience at this factory, we learnt about different grains and had the chance to experience grinding the beans into powdered form and even bring it home to taste. Highly recommend to those looking for a family bonding activity! Friendly staff who patiently taught us the art of grinding.

There is a free parking lot in the park. I have been to other tourist factories. If you want to listen to the tour guide or introduction, you have to make a reservation in advance. However, the good service here is that there will be service staff to follow the main story on the fifth floor during the visit. After the introduction to the museum, we went to visit the third and second floors on our own. There are several areas for installation art on the second floor, and they are all very cute and very suitable for taking pictures. There are a lot of seats at the Barn Cafe on the first floor. The most recommended ones are their waffles, because they are made with grains directly added into the dough and baked. They also come with complimentary yogurt cups. They are all relatively rare flavors outside, and the CP is worth it. High, so we also have takeout. Even if you don’t visit the factory, just going to the cafe to eat and consume is still a good idea! What's a pity is that if you buy park tickets, you can only get a discount of 20% off! 😅

Experience: After purchasing tickets, the staff gave us a stamp collection mission card. We searched for stamps within the facility, and once we collected them all, we received a small gift. We experienced grinding grains, where we used a stone mill to grind beans into powder in sequence and then mixed them. We then handed them over for packaging, and our own instant beverage mix was complete. For the Mini Gold Bar DIY, we divided the dough, filled it with pineapple chunks, and placed it into molds. After baking was complete, we explored the facility, took photos, and collected stamps. It was truly fun and enjoyable!

"Little gold bricks" are pineapple cakes. We only bought a package for our two children, so they only allowed one adult to accompany them while they made the cakes. However, after they were baked at noon, the children ate one after another, indicating that they were delicious. You can only view the production line inside the factory from the fifth floor down to the fourth floor production line, which is a bit of a shame.

This was my second visit to the factory, and the tour flow was smooth. The staff were friendly and helpful in their explanations. This time, I participated in the Golden Brick (pineapple cake making) class, which was simple and easy to understand, perfect for bringing kids along. After the tour, we had lunch directly at the restaurant on the first floor. The food was delicious and suited our tastes. I'll definitely bring my family to visit again next time!

It was a very fun trip. I participated in a pineapple cake making class. First, the staff took us to visit the factory, and then we made 6 pineapple cakes by ourselves. The taste was great. While waiting for baking for 2 hours, we went to the restaurant below to eat. The menu was very delicious and received unanimous praise. We will come back next time if we have the opportunity.

You can stay here for a whole day. It is carefully planned. There is also a special art exhibition to visit. You can get small gifts when you complete the task. It is very experience. However, the staff who make hand-grinded grains on the day will be more controlling about the students. If you can’t experience it freely, you can consider it if you need it ~
