Tainan Classic Attractions Day Tour from Kaohsiung

The day before, I was switched from the Japanese tour to the Chinese tour due to the small number of participants, but luckily there was one other person, and the guide was incredibly attentive, which was a great help (they also speak English). I was able to visit historical buildings and places in Taichung and enjoy the scenery along the way. The Chimei Museum, which we visited last, was overwhelmingly impressive and so extensive that you couldn't see everything thoroughly in the time allotted. I'm glad I participated in this tour because the route included places I wouldn't have thought of myself.

My Klook trip to Tainan was absolutely wonderful! The experience exceeded my expectations, largely thanks to the driver's excellent explanations. They provided insightful commentary throughout the journey, enriching the sights with interesting historical facts and local anecdotes. This made the trip not just a scenic tour, but also an educational and immersive cultural experience. I left Tainan feeling incredibly happy and with a deeper appreciation for the city, all thanks to the thoughtful and engaging guidance. I'd highly recommend this Klook tour!

Although the guide's Korean was somewhat limited, I felt that he tried very hard and treated me warmly. Although I had to pay additional admission fees for all the schedules and the transportation was a bit inconvenient, it was nice to be able to go from Kaohsiung to Tainan comfortably and visit all the must-see tourist attractions in one day. I liked it so much that I took the train to Tainan the next day and went on a day trip to the city to see art galleries, gourmet restaurants, and emotional shopping before coming back to Kaohsiung. Tainan is a charming city like Kaohsiung. If you have a tight schedule in Kaohsiung and can only go to Tainan for a day, I highly recommend it. You can do this tour like me and then go to Tainan City on your own the next day to go around. I think the tour price should be a little cheaper. Nothing is included, which seems to be a problem.

We were a bit late but the driver phoned and agreed to wait for few minutes.They really follow the itinerary timings. We went mid of March and it was hot ,the AC unit of the Van We used isn't sufficient to cool us down inside.We were at the back and the air doesn't reach us completely ,though the driver tried his best to adjust the settings,still it was unimaginably hot inside ,we know it was sunny outside but inside ,our back were also sweating We felt uncomfortable.. The tour was nice especially if u have a limited time in Kaohsiung and want to see Tainan's classic places.

combined with korean trip as the people who joined on that day was v little.the guide was very friendly and offer to take pictures for us proactively. but the attractions were quite underwhelming like the anping old tree house

good day trip to visit Tainan spots, I didn’t think it was too tiring since the car/bus is always very near walking distance. good itinerary if you’re just there to take quick Instagram photos

Great and easy way to explore the Tainan area but you have to prepare extra money since entrance fees aren’t included. We ended up paying about 540NTD each in entrance fees for all the places we went to.

One-day trip to Tainan 🥰 Most of the tourists on this trip were Korean tourists, and the tour guide spoke Korean most of the time. The tour guide can also speak Chinese, and took care of me who didn’t understand Korean. He was very kind~ Remember to bring your own change to buy tickets for attractions and food and drinks. Chimei Museum is a must-see. If you like art and history, don’t miss it. Arrive at noon. For lunch in Anping Old Street, I had beef soup, duck rice, oyster omelette, and shrimp cakes, all of which were very good.

Our driver/guide was very nice. It was a hassle free experience if you want to visit tainan from kaohsiung comfortably.
