Things to do in Chiang Mai Province

The pick-up driver wore a vest with the word "elephant" on it, which felt very professional. It was also clear what the activity was, and the pick-up was on time. In the afternoon session, you will first learn about the habits and basic introduction of elephants, then feed them bananas and watch them graze freely (very therapeutic). You can also take pictures with them while you're there. Next, you'll make healthy food and feed it to the elephants, and then go to the stream to splash water and apply mud to the elephants. Finally, you'll have lunch. If you're worried about being hungry, you can bring your own snacks. There is also coffee and cookies available on site to eat beforehand. During the activity, staff will be taking pictures from the side. Leave your email at the end of the activity, and you will receive the photos in about two to three days. The staff and environment are very good! There is no forced elephant labor or riding.

This course involves attending a Thai cooking ingredient class at the market, picking and tasting various herbs and ingredients grown in the garden, and then cooking. We are a family of four, so three of us cooked and one observed. The father, son, and daughter enjoyed and enthusiastically participated in the cooking. Later, during the meal, the instructor specially made chicken curry for me because I was observing and helping my young daughter. And with mango sticky rice and Thai milk tea for dessert, it was the best course ever. Highly recommended for travelers who want a passionate instructor and a fun experience.

One of the BEST activities I did in Chiang Mai! Mr. Jimmie was absolutely hilarious and made the whole experience unforgettable. I loved every part of it—the market visit, cooking our three dishes, and the beautiful location. As a solo traveler, it was also the perfect place to meet new friends. Highly recommend! Kudos!!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Chiang Mai Kerchor Elephant Eco Park! The entire tour was well-organized, educational, and truly memorable. Our guide, Rocky, made the day even more special—he was incredibly funny, knowledgeable, and engaging throughout the entire experience. Rocky shared fascinating facts about the elephants and the park’s conservation efforts, and his sense of humor kept everyone smiling. The interactions with the elephants were respectful and heartwarming, and it was clear that the animals are well cared for. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Chiang Mai, especially if you’re lucky enough to have Rocky as your guide!

The guide was doing a great job of giving us some very great information and I was having a fantastic time and meet some new friends in the tour. I would recommend this tour it was great to see the highlights of ChiangRai for a day. I didn't mind the long drive as I can enjoy the scenery along the way.

The safari itself was worth watching and the show was good. Children enjoy it. I recommend you enjoy it more than four hours.
