New Elephant Home Elephant Conservation Center in Chiang Mai

We really enjoyed this full‑day tour in Chiang Mai. Our guide Amy did an absolutely wonderful job throughout the whole trip. She is a young, friendly lady, very patient and thoughtful to everyone in our group. The elephant care experience was meaningful, we got to feed and bathe the elephants in a respectful way, no riding performances. The sticky waterfall (Bua Tong Waterfall) was stunning, climbing the mineral slope was such a fun unique experience.
 Amy gave us clear instructions for every activity. She always checked on us, reminded us about sun protection and staying safe, especially when we were at the waterfall and bamboo raft. Pick‑up from the hotel was on time, the whole schedule was well‑arranged without rushing. Overall it was a fantastic day trip. Highly recommend this tour, and big thanks to Amy for making our day so memorable!

I booked this tour the night before, and by around 7:00 a.m. the next morning, our guide, Kim, had already sent me a message. Kim is incredibly friendly and speaks Chinese, English, and Thai, so communication was smooth and effortless throughout the entire trip. She has a great sense of humor, is always making us laugh, and is also very thoughtful and caring. Our whole family truly enjoyed spending the day with her, and we felt lucky to have her as our guide. Oh, and one more thing—Kim is AMAZING at taking photos! 📸❤️ Trust me, that's a huge bonus! Out of our five days in Thailand, this tour was by far our favorite. Whether it was the waterfall, the Long Neck Karen village, or the elephant experience, every part of the day was unforgettable. 🥰

Our guide, Paul, was absolutely fantastic! He spoke fluent and standard English, clearly explained all the important details, and even carried my backpack for me when it was inconvenient for me to climb at Sticky Waterfalls. He took photos of each of us at every attraction, showing great professionalism and responsibility. Before we headed back, he even gave us some fruit. I brought my son this time, and I'll definitely bring friends next time. It was a wonderful trip! I also want to commend our driver, Kla. His driving skills were excellent, and he was always very patient when we needed to get things from the car. He even had chilled bottled water ready for us every time we returned to the meeting point after an activity! There were 8 of us on this trip, and the car wasn't crowded at all. This was definitely the most worthwhile trip to take in Chiang Mai!

we had a really wonderul time! Achin, out guide was alot of fun. all transfers were smooth and ontime. we were given plenty of time to explore each activity.The elephant sanctuary was the most beautiful place I have ever been. The elephants appear happy, safe and well cared for whilst they roam free around the jungle areas. thank you so much, it has been the most incredible experience. the highlight of our trip! we hope to join you again on another trip! ❤️

We had an amazing experience today. The elephants are gentle and intelligent. We got to make food for the elephants and bathe them. Our guide San was very thoughtful and took good care of every member of the group. He also took really nice photos for us.

Our guide, Dum, was incredibly thoughtful, meticulous, and patient. He explained every attraction in great detail. When he talked about elephants, it felt like being back in a university lecture – his explanations were so detailed and vivid, giving us a deeper understanding of elephants and local culture. During our interactions with the elephants, the guide proactively helped us take photos with them! He made sure no one left disappointed, haha. One of the children in our group seemed to have hurt their foot, and without a second thought, the guide immediately took off his own slippers to offer them to the child. 😂😂😂 He was truly so considerate. Finally, I highly recommend visiting the Sticky Waterfalls. The timing of our visit was perfect, so there weren't many people, and we had an absolute blast. The cool river water splashing down was incredibly refreshing. Just note that it closes at 4:30 PM, so plan your time well if you want to go multiple times. Overall, the itinerary was smooth, well-organized, and we were very well taken care of. We had a fantastic time! I will definitely recommend this tour to any friends visiting Chiang Mai in the future!

I wholeheartedly recommend this Chiang Mai day trip! The entire experience was fantastic, and I must give a big shout-out to our guide, Mr. Poppy! Poppy speaks fluent and authentic Chinese, so communication was completely seamless. He has a fun and humorous personality, constantly sharing local customs and traditions along the way, and even providing detailed educational information about elephants. You can tell he genuinely loves animals; his explanations were lively and heartfelt. The elephants were gentle and playful, and interacting with them up close was incredibly therapeutic. The feeding and walking activities were truly healing and made the trip absolutely worthwhile. The afternoon visit to the Sticky Waterfalls was an even bigger surprise; climbing the unique limestone waterfalls was so much fun, and playing in the water was a great way to cool off and de-stress. The pace of the full-day itinerary was perfectly arranged, not rushed, and just right. Poppy also proactively helped us capture beautiful photos along the way, showing how thoughtful and reliable he is. Overall, the value for money is excellent. If you're coming to Chiang Mai and want to experience an elephant sanctuary plus waterfalls, I strongly recommend choosing Poppy as your guide. I'll definitely look for him again on my next visit to Chiang Mai!

Paul, the tour guide, is funny, very responsible, and can also help take photos. The whole activity was very punctual, the process was very clear, and it was a very good day experience. I highly recommend this elephant camp. It feels good.

Our tour guide for this trip was Ing and he was great! When picking us up from our hotel he had great communication and then when we got to the elephants he was so knowledgeable about them and later told me some history about it all which was really interesting to learn. He took photos for us with the elephants which was a nice touch. This trip was so much fun, the elephants look well cared for which is always a bonus as this is one of looks certified ethical experiences. The food part of this trip was also really good, it was probably the best buffet spread out of the couple I tried, everything was delicious. I would definitely recommend this to anyone, and hopefully you will get Ing as your guide! 😊

We booked a one-day tour of Elephant Care, Bamboo Rafting, and Bua Tong Waterfall at New Elephant Elephant Sanctuary through Klook, which included hotel pick-up and drop-off and lunch. It was a fantastic day trip, especially our guide, Mr. Wee. His Chinese was excellent, and the entire itinerary was very well-planned.When we arrived at the elephant camp, many tourists were already feeding the elephants, so he arranged for us to go bamboo rafting first an then have lunch.After lunch, we prepared lunch for the elephants, followed by feeding them, interacting with them, taking photos, and then bathing them. Afterward, we went to Bua Tong Waterfall. The timing was perfect after climbing the waterfall, so the entire itinerary was very well-planned. There was no waiting time, and plenty of time to take photos with the elephants. Mr. Wee also took photos for us and patiently explained everything to us. We are truly grateful to Mr. Wee.
