Chiang Mai Boxing Stadium Muay Thai Ticket

Had a great evening at the Chiang Mai Boxing Stadium with the hubby and teenagers. Truly authentic Boxing stadium, not commercialized. We bought VIP seats in advance where you sat directly behind the fighters as they waited for their fight. Tickets came with free beer, water, soft drinks and snacks all evening. We also got to go on the stage and have a photo taken with the fighters which was an added bonus. It was a late night as it doesn't kick off until 9pm, but well worth the experience.

In the front and center, we really enjoyed the fight. The fight was great, and we had an extraordinary view of the fight. The fighters were brave. The redemption was easy and free. The popcorn was great and there was a toilet available. The fights were quick, but there were six fights, which was plenty enough to enjoy the whole experience. Great job, Glook.

Fantastic experience! Would definitely book again when we go back! Watching the Muay The Boxing matches felt exhilarating and inspiring! I highly recommend this to everyone going to Chiang Mai.

Easy to find, large stadium. Online ticket booth separate from regular one; should be sign posted but keep in mind. Easy to enter, drinks cheap. Fights themselves were great. The headliners were the most experienced and fought well. Organisation was good and everyone came in and out orderly and without pushing.

I wasn't that interested in Muay Thai, but I really enjoyed seeing it up close! The VIP seats include unlimited beer, soda, and water. Plus, all-you-can-eat popcorn and potato chips. You can even go up into the ring before the matches and take pictures with the fighters. Highly recommended! You also get a free T-shirt.

Get ready for an exhilarating match! The competition starts around 9 PM, so arrive early for the best seats. There are six matches that evening, beginning with younger fighters, and expect to see plenty of TKOs! 👍

The first few matches ended in seconds. I didn't even see the fatal blow before the opponent was writhing on the ground, unable to get up. But as the later matches went on, there were more rounds, and both coaches were passionately yelling from the sidelines. You could see they were really serious about guiding the players. You could tell that some teams had a huge difference in skill. The sound of the hits was so loud that it carried all the way to the distant stands. When I saw 23:00, it still wasn't over, but people were gradually leaving because it was just too late. I left with them, so I didn't see the end. Before the match, the players would take photos with the VIP audience. Although I understand the need to differentiate between ticket holders of different prices, this part really made everyone yawn.

Wonderful experience for those looking for authentic thai entertainment with lots of action and energy. Fighters are mostly amateurs but still end up quite exciting to watch. Got a great view even at the grandstand seat. Would do this again the next time we visit thailand.
