our guide was the sweetest! The action itself was confusing and hard to see, but the market bit was AMAZING. The breakfast was also incredible!

Tim was an awesome guide. From his first communication about where and when to meet, to his knowledge about Toyosu and Tsukiji Market, to sharing his food and restaurant recommendations, we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. The majority of time was spent at the auction, where Tim shared the history of the auction, its location, and how the fish are sold. He had a detailed answer to all of our questions and we learned a lot. We would highly recommend this tour with Tim. He was an excellent tour guide and this tour was worthwhile. Thank you Tim!!

I booked this and the Kintsugi art class they offer and was so impressed. The staff were amazing and the place is amazing! My husband and I started with making chopsticks. They have a couple you can choose from that were included or you can upgrade to some other chopstick options. We went with the ones included. We worked with Umar and he was so patient and kind to explain each step of the process. For a small additional fee you can also have your name engraved in Japanese which we did! I would highly recommend adding this to your next trip to Tokyo!

This was my first time going to a maid cafe after seeing many references on Anime and other Japanese media. This place did not disappoint!! The maids were so cheerful and cute its hard not to be pulled along. food tasted great especially enhanced with the "moe moe kyun" beam, trust me 😆.

I arrived a little early and they were booming with people. it was a short wait (10 minutes) & Kamila came over, introduced herself, and walked me through the entire process. Her outgoing attitude and gentle spirit made this process beautiful for me. this has made my Japan journey worth it even more. I will always remember Kamila and this beautiful process in bringing a piece of Tokyo back with me.

Tour offers some very good point of interest for the Imperial Palace, due to security reason, you cannot actually visit the Imperial family's living quarters, but the garden and surrounding already offers huge historical interests. Our guide, Yuki has been great, giving enough historical facts, but not too much that drowns you; which leads you to research more into these facts.

This had been an experience that I've wanted to try for years. Tsukiji market was what spiked my curiosity about Tokyo and Japan even before visiting, after watching a documentary on it and on the tuna auction. So naturally I came with high expectations and with passion and eagerness for a rich experience and Tim delivered on that and then some more! He had a very positive attitude and was immensely experienced in the tuna auction, the other parts of the market, Tsukiji and its shops, and happily recommended shops to the groups in different categories (one group asked for matcha, I was referred to a brilliant knife shop). Highly recommended!

What to know about Toyosu Fish Market
Toyosu Fish Market is the biggest and most modern fish market in Tokyo, replacing the old Tsukiji Market. Located on Tokyo Bay, it's famous for its daily tuna auction, which is a must-see for visitors. You can watch the early morning auction from a special observation deck in the Fisheries Wholesale Market Building. This spot gives you a great view of the busy life of the market workers. But that's not all! At Toyosu Fish Market, you can find lots of fresh seafood and produce in the Intermediate Wholesale Market Building and the Fruit and Vegetables Building. There are also many sushi restaurants where you can eat some of the best sushi in Tokyo, made with super fresh ingredients. Don't forget to try other Japanese dishes like deep-fried pork cutlets, curry rice, and seafood bowls. Easily accessible from central Tokyo, the market is just a short ride on the Yurikamome Line to Toyosu Station. The mix of fresh food, exciting auctions, and tasty meals makes Toyosu Fish Market a must-visit place in Japan.
