Things to do in Mount Fuji

The tour went great! We visited 4 really cool spots: 🌿 Oshino Hakkai — the small ponds and traditional villages at the foot of Mount Fuji, Lake Kawaguchi, and the famous spot with the steps — the view from Arakurayama Sengen Park / Chureito Pagoda. We were able to take some beautiful photos, and a big thank you to our super friendly guide, Kerry, who accompanied us the whole way! 💯❤️

We had a wonderful experience with our driver, Joe during our trip to Lake Kawaguchi and the surrounding areas to see Mount Fuji. He was punctual, friendly, professional, and very helpful throughout the day. He drove safely and comfortably, took us to the best viewpoints, and was patient while we explored and took photos. His knowledge of the area also made the trip much easier and more enjoyable, especially as we wanted to see as much of Mount Fuji as possible. We truly appreciated his excellent service, warm attitude, and attention to our needs. He made our day trip smooth, relaxing, and memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a reliable and professional driver around the Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi area!

I had some reservations when booking due to the rather rainy weather in recent days, but I ended up loving the excursion! The main factor in its success was undoubtedly Aoi, our guide, who stood out for her insight, relevance, patience, and especially her humor. We even had the chance to glimpse Mount Fuji for part of the trip. The food was good, and Aoi gave us valuable tips to maximize our time. A wonderful way to discover rural Japan, local daily life, and the country's mountainous landscapes. I wholeheartedly recommend it, especially with Aoi as your guide: 100% with lots of laughs!

The tour was very well organized and we enjoyed it, even though Mount Fuji was hidden behind a thick cloud cover. It would be desirable if all participants were informed beforehand via WhatsApp.

Today, I joined the Mount Fuji Scenic Photography Day Tour, and it was an amazing experience! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Our tour guide, Xiangxiang, was incredibly professional and friendly. Throughout the trip, she meticulously explained the history of each attraction and the best photo spots, and even proactively helped everyone take group photos – so thoughtful! The driver was also very steady and safe, making the entire journey comfortable. The itinerary covered Chureito Pagoda, Kawaguchiko Oishi Park, Oshino Hakkai, INS Lawson, and Hikawa Clock Shop. Each stop was perfectly arranged, with plenty of time without feeling rushed. Although the weather was changeable today, we were lucky enough to capture photos of Mount Fuji, which was incredibly satisfying! I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an easy way to explore Mount Fuji. I'll definitely choose Klook again on my next trip to Japan!

Very efficient, very smooth process from booking the trip until the end of the day. the itinerary was relaxing and easy. the driver gave us overview and instructions per stop. it gave us enough time per stop and I highly recommend this especially if you like self guided tours.

Serina is a wonderful person. I was so impressed with her from the get go, having to translate not only into one language but two!! at our first stop the team working on an event at the lake was very rude and Serina was able to find a new spot with swans for everyone to still enjoy there time. I knew mt Fuji wasn't promised to see do to weather but luck was very much on our side and several of the locations we got views.

On March 27, 2026, I took a day trip to Lake Kawaguchiko, hoping to see the cherry blossoms during the season, but they hadn't bloomed yet 🫠. The weather was decent, but unfortunately, I didn't get to see the full view of Mount Fuji. I was very lucky that day to have a female tour guide, Xu Jin, who provided detailed explanations at each scenic spot and was incredibly polite and wonderful. When we arrived at Arakurayama Sengen Park, we could see Mount Fuji. Due to time constraints, I didn't climb the five-story pagoda, but on the way back, I bought a beautiful Mount Fuji bag and strawberries from a vendor. We had lunch at Oshino Hakkai, which was a small park. At Lake Kawaguchiko, we took the cable car to the top, where we could see the entire lake and Mount Fuji. We also briefly explored the shopping street. I look forward to seeing the complete Mount Fuji on a day with better weather next time.
