Cairns Water activities

I was initially worried about finding the shuttle, but it was the bus with the rafting picture on it, so it was easy to spot. When you board, they'll confirm your details and ask if you need to rent shoes; you can also wear your own flip-flops. Along the way, there are stops for restrooms and a small town called Tully, where you can buy food and find a supermarket for lunch. Afterward, we continued to our destination. As soon as we got off the bus, we put on the wetsuits, thermal vests, life vests, and helmets they provided. It was great because the thermal vests were very warm. You need to wear your own pants (it's best to wear your swimsuit underneath). On the bus, they'll tell you who your instructor is, and once you're geared up, you can find them directly. Outdoor activities really depend on the instructor, so having a good one makes it a lot of fun! On the way back, we also stopped at a restaurant for dinner, and then we looked at the day's photos. You can split the cost of the photos with others on your boat, so it's quite a good deal, and the pictures turned out great! Safety: Very safe! We wore life vests, and the instructors were very professional!

I used this service for my transfer to Fitzroy Island. The boat was two-storied and departed and arrived on schedule, which made for a reassuring experience. If your goal is to explore the island and enjoy the scenery without getting into the ocean, I believe the afternoon departure would be perfectly enjoyable. However, walking to the popular Nudey Beach and taking photos took up more time than expected, so there wasn't much time left to leisurely visit other spots. Overall, the transfer was comfortable and smooth, and I am very satisfied.

It seems the boat we were supposed to take changed the day before, but we weren't notified, so on the day of the trip, we didn't know which boat to board, which was very difficult. Other than that, the staff were kind, the food was delicious, and we felt safe knowing they were constantly watching over us during snorkeling. The boat was very rocky, and I got seasick, but the staff's response was excellent.

Wonderful afternoon floating on the river with the odd fast bit. Definitely suitable for age ranges they specified as it is mostly shallow and you can stand up if needed. Staff were happy, friendly and wonderfully helpful to keep you floating down the river. We had a small group so plenty of time to have multiple turns on one section of the rapids. Don't forget to bring shoes that can get wet or they have hire ones for $5/pair. We even got a snack on the way back home in the bus. Bus picked us up at our accommodation which was a big bonus - they have multiple collection points.

very exciting 30mins of adrenalin pumping fun.. we probably spun 10 times or more.. lovely views out there on the waters. highly recommended. they took very nice photos and videos too (purchase separately)

Bradley, Marie and Renee from Reef Adventure looked after our family of four, including two young children (age 9 and 6) during the snorkelling tour. They are incredibly patient, friendly and helpful. We had an amazing time snorkelling in the Great Barrier Reef, and saw abundant sea life and beutiful corals. Highly recommended.
