Fantastic 5.0
mark and peter were our guides for the day, and they were really knowledgeable and fun! peter pulled over to let us see a wild emu, and spoke of the sand dunes and holiday life in lancelin as we were driving over for a pit stop. sand boarding was fun too, even though the hike up the dune was slightly arduous (and had a few grains to crunch on in my mouth). as we moved up further, mark brought us down to the grasslands where we got to learn about these ancient trees in great detail. the sunset over at pinnacles was really beautiful this sunday, and the telescope set up enabled us to see the moon's beautiful craters. there was a variety of homemade foods prepared alongside bbq meat! we grabbed full plates and sat around peter as he talked to us about the solar system, milky way and wayfinding with stars. i left with a lot of new knowledge about the universe, an appreciation for the slow life and admiration for our guides' dedication to creating such an impressive experience. thank you!!!

itinerary: 10/10 — enjoyed it up until the very end. everything was clearly briefed and timing was well kept. • attractions on the way: 9/10— visited a number of beautiful beaches, it would’ve been perfect if there were some engaging activities in between on our way to the Pinnacles. nevertheless, views were breathtaking and enjoyable! • group size: 9/10 — there were roughly 26 people during the tour, it was an ideal group size for me, though we did have to squeeze in between our seats • guide: 10/10 — our guide was hardworking, friendly and sweet! she kept the energy consistent and was also inclusive in terms of providing vegetarian / halal meals for muslim tourists! also shared alot of her knowledge on the beaches and deserts we visited!

At Yanchep National Park, we were able to see koalas and kangaroos up close as they moved about. Although it rained heavily the day before and the day after, we had a wonderful time on this particular day, even seeing the stars clearly!

The trip has been livelier and even better than I thought because of Mr David as he explained it so well and taking care of us throughout the journey. The arrangement is just nice and the timing is on spot. Love it!

Fantastic 5.0
Our tour guide was very caring and attentive. The itinerary for this tour was incredibly rich. Since the Pink Lake is more beautiful in the morning, the guide thoughtfully arranged for us to visit it on the morning of the second day. They also helped us with free drone photography, which was extremely considerate. The only slight downside was that breakfast was not included at the hotel. The guide also proactively helped us take photos, and all the tour members spoke Chinese, which made for a very friendly atmosphere.

Itinerary: Lancaster, Mandoon (Wine Tasting + Chinese Lunch), Sandalford, The Margaret River Chocolate Company, Duchstein. Tour Guide: Our tour guide and driver, Barrie, was witty and very knowledgeable about the history of the Swan Valley area. He could easily talk at length about the various wineries and the local history and culture. Highly recommended. Value for Money: Meals: We had Chinese lunch at Mandoon. The portions were generous and the food was delicious; many in our group couldn't finish their meals. We recommend saving some room in the morning.

We had a fantastic Margaret River day tour! Everything was well organised, and our driver/guide, Michael, was friendly, knowledgeable, and kept the day running smoothly. We visited beautiful scenic spots, enjoyed great food and wine, and had plenty of time at each stop. Even though Lake Clifton was closed, the replacement stop at Vasse Virgin was a nice addition. Highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to experience the best of Margaret River in a day!

Fantastic 5.0
Had a really amazing tour with Don to Margret River. Firstly, hotel pick up was available all around the city to bring us to a meet up point where we will change bus. Then we will get introduced to our tour guide of the day. Don, our tour guide, is a knowledgeable and easy going guy. He went through the history of Australia and the different towns during the two hours drive from Perth to Bussleton Jetty, which is really amazing how he remembers the details so well! We got to visit the Bussleton Jetty, wine tasting at Woody Nooks Wine, lunch at Cheeky Beers, explore Mammoth Crystal Cave, visited the Cape Leeuwin lighthouse and a small town in Margret River. Overall the tour was nicely planned out with just enough time for us to explore the areas.

What to know before visiting Perth

Perth at a glance: what draws travellers here

Perth’s Klook bookings are led by tours, cruises and outdoor & sports activities, with attraction passes and museums completing the top mix. Demand peaks in June and is much quieter around January, so the city’s rhythm swings between a busy winter peak and a calm start to the year.

When to visit: crowds and prices through the year

Klook data shows June as the busiest month and January as the quietest, with demand building through spring into the June peak and easing again afterwards. Prices drift low through late summer and early autumn, with August through October among the most budget-friendly months, while prices rise sharply into January and reach the priciest levels in February according to Klook booking history. If you want smaller crowds and lower typical prices, aim for August–October; if you prefer the peak-season atmosphere and activity options, visit around June when demand is highest. Note that demand and price don’t move perfectly together here: the busiest month (June) isn’t the single priciest month (February), so you can sometimes avoid the very highest prices while still enjoying lively conditions.

Tips for travellers

Most visitors book activities about two to three weeks ahead, so you have flexibility but sensible planning helps—especially for popular tours and cruises during the June peak. Many experiences on Klook can still be reserved at short notice (last-minute bookings are common up to around five days out), but locking in favourites earlier increases your chances in busy months. Use Klook to compare options across tours, cruises and outdoor activities and pick times that match whether you prioritise lower prices or a peak-season atmosphere.
