itinerary: 10/10 — enjoyed it up until the very end. everything was clearly briefed and timing was well kept. • attractions on the way: 9/10— visited a number of beautiful beaches, it would’ve been perfect if there were some engaging activities in between on our way to the Pinnacles. nevertheless, views were breathtaking and enjoyable! • group size: 9/10 — there were roughly 26 people during the tour, it was an ideal group size for me, though we did have to squeeze in between our seats • guide: 10/10 — our guide was hardworking, friendly and sweet! she kept the energy consistent and was also inclusive in terms of providing vegetarian / halal meals for muslim tourists! also shared alot of her knowledge on the beaches and deserts we visited!

mark and peter were our guides for the day, and they were really knowledgeable and fun! peter pulled over to let us see a wild emu, and spoke of the sand dunes and holiday life in lancelin as we were driving over for a pit stop. sand boarding was fun too, even though the hike up the dune was slightly arduous (and had a few grains to crunch on in my mouth). as we moved up further, mark brought us down to the grasslands where we got to learn about these ancient trees in great detail. the sunset over at pinnacles was really beautiful this sunday, and the telescope set up enabled us to see the moon's beautiful craters. there was a variety of homemade foods prepared alongside bbq meat! we grabbed full plates and sat around peter as he talked to us about the solar system, milky way and wayfinding with stars. i left with a lot of new knowledge about the universe, an appreciation for the slow life and admiration for our guides' dedication to creating such an impressive experience. thank you!!!

At Yanchep National Park, we were able to see koalas and kangaroos up close as they moved about. Although it rained heavily the day before and the day after, we had a wonderful time on this particular day, even seeing the stars clearly!

What to know before visiting Perth

Quick snapshot of Perth and what draws visitors

Perth’s Klook bookings concentrate on outdoor adventures, tours and cruises, with attraction passes and museums also popular — the city’s seasonality shows a clear rhythm through the year. Demand builds into an April high and falls to a quiet trough in August, so activity levels change noticeably by month.

When to visit and how prices behave

Klook data shows April is the busiest month, while August sees the lowest booking demand. Prices rise and fall across the year: they drift down through late winter and early spring and reach a peak around May, while November typically appears as the cheapest month according to Klook booking data. For travellers chasing lower prices and smaller crowds, consider visiting in August through November; for peak-season atmosphere and the highest activity levels, April (and nearby months) are busiest. Note that demand and price don’t always move in lockstep here — the priciest month by Klook data is May even though demand peaks in April.

Tips for travellers from Australia

Most travellers from Australia typically book about eight days ahead, so planning a week or so in advance usually works well — but last-minute options are often available, with many experiences still bookable a day or two out. If you want more choice in peak months like April, lock in popular tours and cruises earlier; for quieter, cheaper months you can be more flexible when you book on Klook.
