This trip is probably one of the best I’ve had in my lifetime. The 3AM pickup at Burswood was organised and efficient, the team was strict with safety, and expectations were communicated clearly. The “fun” part was helping with the unfurling of the balloon, and the eventual wrapping up of the balloon after the flight landed. The pilot was very experienced, knowing how to rotate the balloon (it cannot be directed, only flowing with the wind), how to rise and fall at opportune times to ensure everyone gets the best view of the sunrise and the beautiful, expansive valley. There are about 20 people (excluding the pilot) on board each balloon; it is very stable, there is no crosswind, I’ve only ever felt a light breeze up there. For those who are worried about height, fret not. Unless you look down, you won’t even notice it. I could even take photos and selfies up there without holding onto the basket. Oh, but the morning pickup is quite chilly in August, do remember to dress in layers!

I would say this is such a valuable flight experience. I love it very much. Actually, I have a lot of control, which is out of my expectations. This is my first time controlling the flight, and I can even take off by myself, amazing!!! My tutor, Justin, is very patient, and he encouraged me a lot during the flight.

A must to go place when you visit Perth - Rottnest Island! Visiting Rottnest Island was one of my favourite experiences during my trip to Perth. From the moment I arrived, I was amazed by the stunning scenery. The crystal-clear blue water, beautiful beaches, and peaceful surroundings made me feel completely relaxed. The highlight of my visit was definitely meeting the famous quokkas. They were even cuter than I expected! Seeing them hopping around freely and getting the chance to take photos with these adorable little creatures was such a special moment. It was impossible not to smile whenever I saw them. Rottnest Island is more than just a tourist attraction—it’s a place where you can slow down, appreciate nature, and create wonderful memories. I left with so many beautiful photos, but more importantly, with memories that I’ll always treasure. If I ever return to Perth, Rottnest Island will definitely be at the top of my list to visit again.

The weather was extremely good and the temperature was chilly. We got so lucky to witness the whales and dolphins appearing together throughout the trip. Highly recommended to take part in this trip for an unforgettable experience and memory to see the whales in front of your eyes.

Fantastic 5.0
The team was wonderfully punctual, arriving at our hotel 10 minutes ahead of the scheduled time to ensure a stress-free start. The crew was professional and experienced. They even shared brilliant photography tips on how to capture stunning photos of the night sky and stars. The location offered truly awesome views that made the entire experience magical. Gliding down the dunes with sandboarding was an absolute blast and a huge highlight of the trip. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a well-organized, fun, and memorable adventure!

Fantastic 5.0
We were able to take our time watching the dolphins playing, which was such a relaxing and enjoyable experience. It was also fun to see all the beautiful luxury homes along the way — I was especially impressed that they are located so close to where dolphins come! I was able to make a reservation on the same day, which was very helpful. At first, I went to the location pinned as “Mandurah Cruise,” but a staff member kindly explained where I should go, which I really appreciated. It’s also very easy to get there — only about a 10-minute bus ride from Mandurah Station — so I think it’s a perfect place for a day trip!

Fantastic 5.0
itinerary: 10/10 — enjoyed it up until the very end. everything was clearly briefed and timing was well kept. • attractions on the way: 9/10— visited a number of beautiful beaches, it would’ve been perfect if there were some engaging activities in between on our way to the Pinnacles. nevertheless, views were breathtaking and enjoyable! • group size: 9/10 — there were roughly 26 people during the tour, it was an ideal group size for me, though we did have to squeeze in between our seats • guide: 10/10 — our guide was hardworking, friendly and sweet! she kept the energy consistent and was also inclusive in terms of providing vegetarian / halal meals for muslim tourists! also shared alot of her knowledge on the beaches and deserts we visited!

What to know before visiting Perth

Discover Perth’s highlights and seasonal rhythm

Perth is a sunlit coastal city where tours, cruises and outdoor & sports activities dominate Klook bookings, with attraction passes and museums rounding out the mix. Demand on Klook rises and falls through the year, with clear high and low seasons that shape when travellers visit.

Best months to visit based on demand and prices

Klook booking data shows the busiest month is June and the quietest month is January. Prices peak in July and fall to their lowest in August, and overall prices drift down from mid-year into late winter. If you want lower prices and smaller crowds, consider visiting in August when Klook data typically shows the lowest activity prices and demand is subdued; for peak-season atmosphere, aim for June when demand is highest even if prices are not the absolute priciest. Note the slight divergence around July–August: July is the priciest month while August is the cheapest, so timing a trip for late July into August can capture lower prices as demand eases.

Tips for travellers from Malaysia

Most travellers from Malaysia typically book about 29 days ahead, so plan and secure popular tours or cruises a few weeks before travel—especially if you’re aiming for the busy June period. If you prefer spontaneity, many experiences also allow later bookings (last-minute bookings occur around nine days before), but advance booking gives more choice; use Klook to lock in tickets and activities as your itinerary firms up.
