Fantastic 5.0
This trip is probably one of the best I’ve had in my lifetime. The 3AM pickup at Burswood was organised and efficient, the team was strict with safety, and expectations were communicated clearly. The “fun” part was helping with the unfurling of the balloon, and the eventual wrapping up of the balloon after the flight landed. The pilot was very experienced, knowing how to rotate the balloon (it cannot be directed, only flowing with the wind), how to rise and fall at opportune times to ensure everyone gets the best view of the sunrise and the beautiful, expansive valley. There are about 20 people (excluding the pilot) on board each balloon; it is very stable, there is no crosswind, I’ve only ever felt a light breeze up there. For those who are worried about height, fret not. Unless you look down, you won’t even notice it. I could even take photos and selfies up there without holding onto the basket. Oh, but the morning pickup is quite chilly in August, do remember to dress in layers!

Fantastic experience even though we had to wake up at 230am... Timing was perfect to float up and capture the beautiful sunrise on time. Friendly and helpful crew members. Will definitely recommend to others..

I would say this is such a valuable flight experience. I love it very much. Actually, I have a lot of control, which is out of my expectations. This is my first time controlling the flight, and I can even take off by myself, amazing!!! My tutor, Justin, is very patient, and he encouraged me a lot during the flight.

Fantastic 5.0
Our tour guide was very caring and attentive. The itinerary for this tour was incredibly rich. Since the Pink Lake is more beautiful in the morning, the guide thoughtfully arranged for us to visit it on the morning of the second day. They also helped us with free drone photography, which was extremely considerate. The only slight downside was that breakfast was not included at the hotel. The guide also proactively helped us take photos, and all the tour members spoke Chinese, which made for a very friendly atmosphere.

Highly recommended for this small group tour, especially our guide Kenny. He planned everything very well and helped us take great photos by avoiding peak times and crowds. He is like a professional videographer and cameraman, capturing memorable videos when we didn’t even realize it. He also made sure we had enough rest time between each attraction, which made the whole experience very comfortable and enjoyable.

Fantastic 5.0
We enjoyed the 2-day tour and found the itinerary well planned, covering highlights such as Pink Lake, Nature’s Window, Kalbarri Skywalk and the beautiful coastal scenery. One of the most memorable moments was seeing wild kangaroos right outside our accommodation. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and ensured the trip ran smoothly. The only downside was that we booked the Chinese tour, but the tour was conducted mainly in English by a local Australian guide. While the guide was excellent, our elderly parents had some difficulty understanding the explanations. Overall, a very enjoyable and memorable experience.

Fantastic 5.0
Tour guide Raymond's arrangements were very thoughtful, catering to the needs of travelers, perfectly staggering peak times for attractions and restaurants, making for a very memorable holiday for me and my mother during the Lunar New Year. Taking the small plane to see the pink lake from above was well worth it!!! Raymond used a drone to help me and my mother film at the pink lake, which was very enjoyable. In the evening, we went to the Pinnacles to see the stars, and the entire Milky Way was clearly visible, which was very impressive!!! This trip exceeded expectations in terms of how wonderful it was!

What to know before visiting Perth

Why visit Perth and what to expect

Perth is a sunlit coastal city whose Klook bookings are dominated by tours, cruises and outdoor & sports activities, with attraction passes and museums also popular. Demand peaks in April and falls toward November, so the rhythm of the year ranges from lively shoulder-season months to a noticeably quieter late-spring trough.

Best times to go and how prices behave

Klook data show demand is highest in April and lowest in November. Prices move independently at times: the priciest month on Klook booking data is March, while the cheapest is typically September, and prices generally climb through late winter into early spring before easing again in late spring and summer. If you want lower prices and smaller crowds, aim for September or November when demand and prices are both lower; if you prefer peak-season atmosphere and more activity, visit in April or March when the city is busiest and prices tend to be higher.

Tips for travellers from the United States

Most travellers from the United States tend to book about a week ahead, so planning around seven days is a sensible balance between flexibility and securing popular experiences. Many top activities — guided tours, cruises and outdoor excursions — still allow last-minute booking a day or two out, but locking in must-do items earlier is helpful in the peak months; use Klook to compare options and reserve the experiences you care about.
