Whale Watching Experience from Perth

We had a great time on this trip - the boat was a large catamaran so very stable and had both indoor and outdoor seating. We saw 4 whales including some breaching which was amazing!!! Would definitely recommend

The weather was extremely good and the temperature was chilly. We got so lucky to witness the whales and dolphins appearing together throughout the trip. Highly recommended to take part in this trip for an unforgettable experience and memory to see the whales in front of your eyes.

amazing experience. we were lucky that we could see quite a number of whales. including one family (2 big and 1 baby). the baby was so playful. Driver picked us from bus station nearby our hotel at around 11am, drop us around 3.30pm. overall the whale watching was from 12.30pm-2.30pm.

The 2-hour whale watching tour was enjoyable. The sky was clear, sunny, and breezy. There were whale sightings, but they were quite far away, and the whales didn't surface much. The tour operator tried to maneuver around to find more whale appearances for the passengers.

The highlight for us was having a marine biologist with us..she didn’t just give general explanations but actually came around to our seats, interacted with everyone, and shared so many fascinating facts about whales. It made the whole trip so much more meaningful and engaging. And of course… the whales! We were lucky enough to spot plenty of them throughout the tour, and seeing these gentle giants so close was just magical. The combination of excitement, learning, and fun made this tour truly worth it. We laughed, we cheered, and we enjoyed every moment. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Perth..you’ll walk away with amazing memories and a huge smile! 🌊✨

It was a truly amazing experience — although windy during the day, the operator managed to return, and we were lucky enough to spot more than five humpback whales. We had plenty of time to watch them, and it was absolutely unforgettable.

Very special experience. We watch at least 10 times of humpback whale out from the sea surface. The service provider would try his best to find whale. Recommended

What an experience!! Hotel Pick up and drop off is arranged by Australian Pinnacles Tour and actual whale watching tour is by Rottnest Fast Ferries, with a Marine Biologist assigned to our trip. Many experienced seasick and those who didnt were out at the viewing deck looking out for whales. The marine biologist was at the higher deck, looking out for whales and immediately informed us when a pod is spotted e.g. "at your 1 o'clock direction" and the ferry will shift its direction to allow people at viewing deck to have the best view of the whales. Highly recommend!
