Fantastic 5.0
Having purchased tickets in advance, our entry was smooth and efficient, which was great. Inside the park, all the staff were friendly, making our visit very pleasant. The kangaroo area was very spacious and open, which was wonderful, but it was a shame we couldn't find where to buy food to interact with them. The sheer number of koalas was impressive, and their cuteness was as expected. A unique highlight was seeing a platypus, and watching it swim was a great experience. The gift shop had a good variety of cute souvenirs, and the park offered high-speed Wi-Fi, making communication easy and allowing us to navigate smoothly using the browser-based map. If I have the chance to visit Brisbane again, I would definitely like to go back.

The Brisbane BridgeClimb is an awesome, well-organized experience, totally worth it. The safety briefing is reassuring, the guides are friendly. The views from the top are breathtaking, especially over the river and city skyline. This is definitely a great pick.

The river cruise is good as we could hear a lot of history about Brisbane. Lone Pine is a small zoo and we spent only 3 hours there. We paid AUD$35 each person for the koala moment but we only had a few minutes encountering a koala.

Fantastic 5.0
This visit to the Australian Zoo was a fresh and surprising experience. As soon as you enter the park, you can feel a completely different atmosphere from the zoos you usually see in the city. Unlike traditional zoos that give a cold, isolated feeling, this place is closer to nature, open, and full of life, as if stepping into a world dedicated to animals. What impressed me the most were the animals unique to Australia, such as kangaroos, koalas, and wombats. Observing kangaroos leisurely hopping on the grass up close allowed me to truly feel the unique natural charm of Australia. And the sight of koalas hugging tree trunks and sleeping lazily was so adorable that I couldn't help but stop and watch for a long time. These animals, which I usually only see in pictures or videos, are now vividly appearing before my eyes, making me feel particularly real and shocked. In addition to observing animals, the park also places great emphasis on conservation and education. Through explanatory signs and introductions from the staff, I learned a lot about issues such as wildlife protection, habitat destruction, and the impact of humans on nature. This made me no longer just "look at animals", but began to think about the relationship between humans and nature, and how we should better respect the lives on this land. Throughout the tour, I not only gained joy and relaxation, but also new knowledge and reflections. The Australian Zoo is not just a tourist attraction, but also a vivid natural lesson, reminding us that while enjoying nature, we also have the responsibility to protect it. This experience left me with deep and warm memories, and made me cherish the world where we coexist with animals even more.

There's a minibus shuttle. Upon arrival, you first register and purchase photos and videos. They only accept credit cards there. Then wait for your name to be called; your English name will be displayed on the screen. The instructors will help us put on safety gear and then watch a video to learn about landing. After that, you get on a small plane and descend for 10 minutes in the middle of the sea. There's no G-force, but it's super windy, which can be scary for the first jump. After jumping, you can relax and enjoy the scenery. The parachute opens quickly, allowing you to see the scenery for a bit longer. The return bus only leaves after everyone has jumped. You might have to wait until noon to go back.

Fantastic 5.0
Cam, our driving instructor, was really nice and patient. it was a surreal experience and the good was also great. Staff took great care of us all. A few points to note, too many people on the boat with many we has to take turns getting into the choppy ocean after lunch. Not really an ideal dive option. Secondly the evening tea should have had the pastries rather than morning as we were all getting ready to dive into the ocean, so food wasn’t on our minds…

North Stradbroke Island is so beautiful! Rob was nice, funny and tried his best to locate the wild life animals for us. We saw one humpback whale, many kangaroos, and some koalas. Trust me, the experience of looking for animals in the wild was wonderful!

Tips for Visiting Brisbane

1. Book Airtrain Tickets Online

When you land at Brisbane Airport, the Airtrain is the quickest way to reach the city centre. Book online to save money and catch trains that leave every 15–30 minutes.

2. Use a Go Card for Public Transport

You don’t need a car to get around. The TransLink network of buses, trains, and ferries makes it easy to explore the city and suburbs. Some routes, like the Blue CityGlider, even run all night on weekends.

3. Reserve Popular Restaurants Early

4. Plan a Day Trip to North Stradbroke Island

Known locally as “Straddie,” this island is perfect for swimming, snorkeling, or relaxing on quiet beaches. You can reach it via ferry from Cleveland, about an hour from the city.
