Fantastic 5.0
As a Hong Konger, my last stay at a Disney hotel was four years ago, at the classic Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel. This time, for my birthday, I decided to try the Hollywood Hotel, and the result was a pleasant surprise! First, there's a shuttle bus from Disneyland Station that takes about 10-15 minutes to reach the hotel, which is very convenient. The hotel also offers a shuttle service every 30 minutes starting from 12:30 PM, making it easy to plan your day and even visit other hotels for guest-exclusive activities (like crafts, painting, etc.). The hotel seems to have been renovated; I initially thought it might feel a bit dated, but after experiencing it, I found it to be very clean and bright overall. There are Disney decorations everywhere, and Disney cartoons play in the lobby, which was delightful and kept the kids entertained for a long time! The room wasn't huge, but it was full of Disney charm and even prettier than in the pictures! Having visited Disneyland in California, this hotel gives you a very American-style experience, making it feel like a vacation even when you're in Hong Kong. The breakfast was also excellent, especially the Chinese dim sum, which was fantastic. Chef Donald was even there for photos throughout the morning, so breakfast is definitely worth trying!

Fantastic 5.0
1st time to stay in Panda Hotel. We stayed here with my family. The location is very convenient for family with kids and baby. There’s a mall on the lower floors, which have grocery, department store, retail stores, 711 and restaurants. There’s also a bus stop on the ground floor, going to the from the airport, HZMD, Tung Chung, Disneyland and more. Train station is more or less 10 mins walk away, we only ride the train once since riding a bus is more convenient. Our rooms were clean and very cozy. But was no bidet. There’s also microwave in our room and ref, a free downtown shuttle bus going to Mongkok and TST, you just need to book your reservation. The staff were helpful too, the most accommodating is the shuttle bus driver, it was rare to see the others smile, only the driver smiled to us, with made our day. Over all, we enjoyed our stay. Meals here are cheaper than those is TST, Mongkok or Central area. Meals in restos here are way cheaper than in Mongkok, TST and Central.

Fantastic 5.0
An extraordinary space with an open pool and gardens, plenty of activities, and of course character greetings — it was truly satisfying. The guest room was spacious enough, equipped with a water purifier, and very comfortable. Since toothbrushes and similar items are not included in the free amenities, I recommend bringing your own.

Fantastic 5.0
I booked Rambler Oasis Hotel for my kids, who arrived past midnight, so I reserved the prior night to make sure they had a room ready. I made the bookings separately for each day since I wanted to treat each stay as a different experience. I’m grateful to the Guest Services Manager for the swift responses to my emails and for coordinating their late arrival. The room I chose was the basic one, so I didn’t expect much given the price. It was compact, but since my boys only needed a place to sleep, it worked fine. For guests who plan to spend more time relaxing in the room, I’d suggest booking a bigger room for comfort. Personally, I prefer more space to walk around and a larger bathroom, but I can’t complain considering the rate. The view was of the harbor, which is nice, though unfortunately the spot assigned had ongoing construction, so my kids didn’t appreciate it as much. Overall, the stay served its purpose — convenient, coordinated, and practical for their trip.

Fantastic 5.0
Fantastic room view overlooking the sea, with ships passing by and a clear view of the hotel's infinity pool. The hotel offers a halal breakfast section. However, the menu remained largely unchanged throughout our 4-day stay, so it became a little repetitive. The complimentary shuttle service to Ocean Park MTR station runs every 30 minutes and is very punctual. One thing to note is that guests are required to load their own luggage onto the shuttle. Soundproofing could be improved as noise from neighbouring rooms can be heard. Fortunately, our room was located near the end of the corridor, so it did not affect our stay too much.

Fantastic 5.0
I recently stayed one night at the Nina Hotel Tsuen Wan West, and it was an absolutely incredible value! As soon as I entered the lobby, I was impressed by its grandeur. Check-in was quick, and the staff were friendly, professional, and greeted me with a smile, which made me feel very comfortable. I booked a Premier Seaview Room (31 square meters), and as soon as I opened the door, I was stunned by the sea view! The room had two queen-sized beds, was clean and tidy, and the bedding was just right—not too soft, not too firm—making for a very comfortable sleep. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered views of Victoria Harbour and the opposite shore. During the day, there were blue skies and white clouds, and at night, the city lights sparkled—it was like having a free, front-row seat to a Victoria Harbour fireworks show! The room amenities were comprehensive, including a bathtub, shower, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, a mini-bar, and a safe, all very practical. The air conditioning was quiet, ensuring a great night's sleep. What's best is the super convenient transportation! The hotel is only a 6-minute walk from Tsuen Wan West Station and the bus stop. There are also many restaurants and shopping malls nearby, making it easy to find food and do some shopping. The hotel itself has a bar and a coffee shop, and the breakfast was quite substantial; I had an egg and coffee and was already full. My favorite aspects were the room view and the service. The staff were very attentive and always ready to help with any questions I had. This hotel boasts a beautiful location, spacious rooms, stunning views, and offers exceptional value for money! It's perfect for business travelers, couples, or families on vacation.

What to know before visiting Hong Kong

Quick snapshot of Hong Kong's visitor rhythm

Hong Kong draws most bookings for theme parks, events & shows, and observation decks, with museums and playgrounds also popular. Demand peaks in January and again late in the year, while it eases through summer—so the city swings between busy festival months and quieter mid-year stretches.

Best times to visit based on demand and prices

According to Klook booking data, January is the busiest month and July sees the lowest demand. Prices drift through the year: bookings show the priciest month as September on average, while the typically cheapest month is February. If you want lower prices and smaller crowds, aim for July or the early-year months when demand is softer; for peak-season atmosphere and events, plan for January or the late-year spike. Note that demand and price don’t move in perfect lockstep—some months with higher demand don’t always carry the highest prices.

Tips for travellers

Most experiences in Hong Kong can be booked a few days ahead—Klook data shows typical bookings are made about three days in advance, with many travellers locking things in up to about two weeks early. Be flexible and book last-minute when you can, but secure popular shows or theme park options earlier in peak months to avoid disappointment. Use Klook to compare dates and options so you can pick quieter days or better-value times.
