Zoe, our guide, was really helpful. She explained a lot of information about the tram and the peak. She made sure that everyone in the group is not left behind. Booking ahead of time also saved a lot of time and energy.

Love this experience! We were lucky that it’s sunny and the view was amazing! The guide helped us to take a photo with the tram before the tour starts. They gave us a bag which has a bunch of stuff, the sweets was really nice too! Love the whole experience! Make sure you write in the postcard and post it in the tram!

I loved this tour. Every part was a a joyful experience and my kids also really enjoyed it. THe tour guide was obnoxious and needed to be quiet though, 45m into his never ending talking I needed to talk to my husband across the isle of the bus and he told me off like a child telling me not to interrupt him (it was literally 45m into his never ending monologue). apart from this all of the "pit stops" were amazing.

Fantastic 5.0
Mr. Bill is our driver/tour guide. He is punctual for our pickup time. This is a private tour so we opted to go to the following (considering we have senior citizen parents) 1. Cable Car up to Ngong Ping Village (my fewr of heights was tested. Quite foggy and windy during our ride up) 2. Ngong Ping Village (had our lunch here and some souvenir buying) 3. Tian Tan Buddha ( parents opted not to go up.quite tiring and oxygen is thin) 4. Cable car down to Terminal near Tung Chung Station ( weather was better /sunny) 5. Drive around Central Area (longest escalator in HK) 6. Sunset at Victoria Peak (took our afternoon snacks here) All along the way, Mr. Bill suggested possible destinations, as well as some history of the place we were passing by. Also food choices and snacks. He also took our family photos at the peak. He dropped us of along Nathan Road to cap off our day tour. Thank you so much Mr Bill!

100/100 will promote this tour!! Don’t just see the shiny side of Hong Kong, come and see the ‘dark side’ too and learn how the grassroot people live. Summer is AMAZING as a tour guide, sharing so much for us to learn and also answering all our questions. ◡̈ even though it was raining halfway through the tour, she still keep up her bright spirit and made the tour so interesting! thanks so much Summer!

What to know before visiting Hong Kong

What to expect in Hong Kong

Hong Kong is a compact city built for experiences: Theme parks lead booking volume, followed by Events & shows and Observation decks, with Museums and Playgrounds also popular. Demand follows a clear annual rhythm in Klook booking data: January and December are high season while August falls well below a typical month. Pick activities that suit the season — festive events and skyline views cluster in peak months, while quieter months are great for lower crowds. Decide whether you want peak atmosphere or smaller crowds — Klook booking data helps time your visit around those trade-offs.

When to visit and how prices move

January and December are the busiest months in Klook booking data, with January showing the biggest uplift and August the quietest month. Hotel and activity prices drift through the year: the priciest month on Klook was October and the most affordable month was April, with a typical gap of roughly 24% between them. Where demand and price move together you get classic peak-season crowds and costs in January and December; where they diverge—August is very quiet while prices remain mid-to-high—travellers can find space but not always lower prices. For lower prices and smaller crowds, aim for April or the quieter late-summer months; for peak-season atmosphere, choose January or December.

Month Demand Level Typical Price
January Peak demand MYR 122
February About average MYR 126
March Quieter than usual MYR 122
April About average MYR 101
May Quieter than usual MYR 109
June About average MYR 101
July Quieter than usual MYR 122
August Very quiet MYR 130
September Quieter than usual MYR 122
October About average MYR 134
November Busier than usual MYR 122
December Peak demand MYR 122

Demand is bookings in that month compared with a typical month, from historical Klook booking data, grouped into the demand levels above; typical price is the median paid on Klook in that month; prices are shown with their currency code. Based on Klook booking data, July 2025 – June 2026.

Where to stay in Hong Kong

Klook booking data shows the most affordable typical nightly rate in Central and Western District at around MYR 288, while Islands District sits at the priciest end at around MYR 941, roughly 69% higher. Cheaper districts tend to suit travellers who prioritise value and longer daytime exploring, while pricier districts suit those who prefer quieter neighbourhood hotels or a more resort-like stay. Use these typical nightly rates on Klook to match your lodging choice to your travel priorities and budget.

Tips for travellers from Malaysia

Most Malaysian travellers on Klook book about 4 days ahead, while the earliest planners book around 15 days out, according to Klook booking data. That means you can often be flexible and book a day or two before travel for many experiences, though in January and December it pays to lock things in earlier. When you know your dates, book experiences on Klook to secure slots and preferred times — the platform’s booking patterns show where demand concentrates, so booking a few days ahead balances flexibility and availability.
