Airport Express Train
With several options for transportation from Hong Kong International Airport to the city, this Hong Kong Airport Transfers guide displays all the different options to chose from, depending on your preferences in terms of price, time and luggage needs.

Airport Express

The Hong Kong Airport Express  is one of the fastest ways to travel from HKIA to the city; you can reach Hong Kong MTR Station, located in IFC Mall within 30 minutes, and reach the Kowloon or Tsing Yi MTR stations even faster. The trains run in 10 minute intervals from Hong Kong Airport between 5:54am to 11:28pm, and then in 12 minute intervals between 11:28pm to 12:48am. You can also enjoy In-Town Check-In on your way back from Hong Kong, Kowloon or Tsing Yi MTR Station, provided you are there 90 minutes prior to your flight. Airport Express Hong Kong also has a free shuttle bus service from Hong Kong and Kowloon MTR station, which can take you to most major hotels and transport interchanges in the city.
Tickets for the Hong Kong Airport Express can be bought at a counter at the arrivals hall of HKIA. You can also buy discounted tickets for Hong Kong Airport transfers online, on klook.com:

Airport Shuttle

You can also opt to take an Airport Shuttle from Hong Kong Airport to any hotel on Hong Kong Island or Kowloon. Air-conditioned and with ample luggage space, it is a much cheaper option than taking a taxi from the airport to the city, and the pick up service is quite efficient. This Hong Kong Airport transfer coach runs from 7am to 11pm daily, with 30 minute intervals. You can also book at a 15 % discounted price online with Klook:

Private Airport Transfers

For Hong Kong Airport transfers with a large group or family, private transportation may be suitable, as it is efficient and also provides a good amount of luggage space. Options include a chauffeur-driven van, which can seat up to 6 people, or a 4 person limousine service. Both services are available at anytime, but with an extra charge between 12am to 6am. The chauffeur will arrive at the arrivals hall of HKIA 1 hour 15 minutes after your flight’s scheduled landing with your name on a sign. The prices for these services are as follows:

You can also take a taxi outside of the Hong Kong Airport arrivals hall. The red urban taxis are the most frequent ones, and cost HKD 22 for the first 2km, and a subsequent HKD 1.60 for each 0.2km after. The cost of a taxi to Central is approximately HKD 300 (including the tunnel surcharges), and approximately HKD 250 to Tsim Sha Tsui. However, this does not include the cost for luggage; each bag stored in the trunk is an additional HKD 5 for each piece.

Public Bus

There are several public buses to and from Hong Kong Airport, going to areas of Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and the New Territories. There are buses that run throughout the day, as well as overnight “N” buses, although they do not run as frequently. Hong Kong Airport transfers by buses are relatively cheap, with fares ranging from HKD 10 to HKD 50, although they take much more time than other types of airport transfers. Most buses also have space to store luggage during travel.
