this option is much better than bus from GZ to HK or vice versa. first time going by high speed train from GZ to HK. You need to clear customs between countries - not much queue but there is some. appaz HK to GZ advised to arrive at least 60min in advance. GZ to HK can be as short as 30min. GZ south station is about 40min from Beijing road area and costs about 10SGD. we took the high speed rail that takes 1hr from GZ to HK Kowloon west station. your passport is your ticket, no need for QR code or physical ticket. self load luggage. boarding gate, carriage number and seat all appear on ur klook app but encouraged to also double check on the board in person. overall very smooth experience.
