Fantastic 5.0
We highly recommend this tour! From meet-up to the ski resort, smooth transportation (back and forth). The equipments we needed were already ready upon arrival. Our guide is really really good, she really tried her best to teach us first timers in snowboarding; also, she knows when someone is struggling and doubles the effort to teach and help the person. The morning session was more into basic snowboarding training, and in the afternoon was the advance level where we will go to the summit then go down! We're able to play with the snow happily! Thank you very much!

We rented snow gear and a snowboard this time, and the experience was excellent. The staff was very attentive, carefully checking sizes and equipment details. The best part was being able to communicate in Chinese, which made the rental process easy and quick, so there was no need to worry about misunderstanding technical terms. The equipment was also in great condition. Highly recommended!

I tried skiing for the first time. The instructor was very kind and taught me how to fall and get back up on my own, because I fell often... The instructor was patient and taught me slowly. The location is good and easy to get to. There's a direct bus from Sapporo Station, so there's no need to drive.

We are not prepared at all in the photoshoot because of the lack of time we have but maybe next time we will rent for a kimono for a more japanese vibes. Overall good experience, our photographer Jack-san is very nice and puts an effort to get the attention of our baby. We appreciate that. Thank you.

We are so grateful to have 柳生导游 as our guide! She really went above and beyond throughout the entire trip. We truly feel how passionate and enthusiastic she is about what she does. She explained everything so clearly and shared so many interesting details, tips and little recommendations along the way. It made the whole journey much more enjoyable and helped us understand and appreciate the places we visited so much more. What really stood out was her genuine care for everyone in the group. She was attentive, approachable and always happy to help. It felt like we weren’t just following a tour itinerary, we were being taken care of by someone who genuinely wanted us to have a wonderful experience. A big thank you as well to the tour company for preparing the thoughtful little gifts for us. Such a lovely touch and a beautiful way to end the experience! Thank you 柳生导游 for making our trip so memorable. We truly appreciate all your effort, energy and passion. Highly recommended!

What to know before visiting Sapporo

Quick overview of Sapporo and what draws visitors

Sapporo is a winter-centred destination where tours, outdoor & sports activities, and sightseeing spots like cable cars and observation decks lead visitor bookings. Demand peaks in January and dips in September, so the city’s yearly rhythm swings between a busy winter season and much quieter late summer. Expect a mix of snowy-season activity bookings and steady interest in year-round sightseeing.

When to visit for crowds and prices

According to Klook booking data, January is the busiest month while September sees the lowest demand. Prices typically rise into the winter: Klook’s data shows the priciest month around January and the cheapest around August, with mid-year months showing modest variation. If you want lower prices and smaller crowds, plan for late summer months; if you want the peak-season atmosphere and winter events, aim for January and the surrounding winter months. In Sapporo, demand and prices mostly move together—peak demand aligns with higher prices in winter, while quieter months tend to be cheaper.

Tips for travellers from Global

Most visitors book around a week ahead on average, though last-minute bookings are still possible (about a day out) and early planners often book a few weeks in advance. For short-notice flexibility, many tours and activities can be secured a day or two beforehand; if you’re travelling in peak winter months, consider booking earlier to lock in popular outdoor experiences. Use Klook to compare options and secure tickets or tours that match your travel dates and pace.
