Things to do in Hokkaido

We had a great time on this tour! Our guide Jenny was fantastic, super friendly, funny and enthusiastic about every place we went. It was really well organised and expertly timed. It’s a fast-paced trip but that really maximises how much you get to see in one day. It rained, but everywhere was still beautiful regardless. You will not regret seeing this side of Hokkaido!

Mt. Moiwa Ropeway & Observation Deck offer one of the best viewpoints in Sapporo. Simply exchange your QR code for a physical ticket, then join the queue for the ropeway and connecting cable car to the summit. The ropeway cabins are spacious and can accommodate many passengers. I highly recommend arriving before sunset and staying into the evening — you'll get to enjoy both daytime and nighttime views, each with its own unique charm. The panoramic scenery from the observation deck is absolutely stunning, overlooking Sapporo city, the surrounding mountains, and the distant coastline. A must-visit attraction when in Sapporo.

The entire itinerary was wonderfully arranged. For someone who enjoys planning, the highlights of the trip were exactly as expected. Thankfully, yesterday (July 25th) was overcast but breezy, making for comfortable weather. Most importantly, our tour guide, Vivi, deserves immense praise. She already excels at her primary duties, but there's one particular thing that warrants extra commendation: a member of our group suffered from motion sickness. As soon as the car started, she was already feeling ill, so Vivi helped her find a more comfortable seat. During the trip, it's inevitable that everyone might doze off. After lunch, the same group member experienced motion sickness again and vomited. Vivi was incredibly attentive, rushing to provide water and tissues while the rest of the family was asleep. Vivi truly deserves a huge thumbs-up! We're also grateful for Vivi's care, her initiative in helping us take photos, and her guidance on poses. Thank you, Vivi! We hope Vivi will be our guide again on our next visit to Hokkaido!

That was the highlight of my trip to Japan. our guide Tetsu was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. the hotels we stay at were amazing. Itinerary is well thought through, every single spot is breathtaking.

The trip turned up to be surprisingly enjoyable despite we were too early for lots of flowers . The Blue Pond was spectacular despite the drizzly weather. Trip to Shikisai No Oka was truly eye opening and we truly immersed ourselves under the cool summer day. Farm Tomita never disappoints us with the chance to taste the ice cream and melon with the beautiful flower views. lastly must comment the guide Yan who patiently explained all the places of interest in English, Chinese and Japanese.

After completing the order, I realized the voucher stated that a printed copy was required for redemption. However, upon arrival, I was able to show the voucher on my phone to the ticket agent at the ticket booth. They wrote down the number from my phone, and I was able to redeem the tickets. When redeeming the tickets, you still need to wait in line with those purchasing tickets. Even though it was cherry blossom season, we entered two hours before closing, so there were noticeably fewer people, and we didn't have to wait. It's definitely worth going up to see during cherry blossom season; it's absolutely beautiful.

Eric was a wonderful guide and thoroughly enjoyed his tour - he speaks in such a calm manner and succinctly while sharing interesting tidbits about the locations and great local recommendations. Was very clear in his communications especially on timings incl. on whatsapp/wechat (email sent by tour company the day before for joining), and the tour was very well paced. Highly recommend for a great tour overall and a must do in Hokkaido in the summer!

This was a very fulfilling tour, allowing us to visit many famous Hokkaido sights in just one day! We were extremely satisfied, enjoying scenery unique to Hokkaido, such as Lake Toya and Noboribetsu Hell Valley.

Hong made our Otaru and Cape Kamui day trip truly memorable. Young, knowledgeable, and genuinely attentive, he made sure everyone was well looked after while sharing interesting insights throughout the tour. His energy and professionalism made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!
