Dingen om te doen in Hokkaido

We had a very pleasant trip with insightful explanation on each destination by our tour guide, Eric. The time allocation for each place was also just nice. The potato croquettes from Shikisai no Oka were definitely a must-try!

We had a great trip and it was a special day in March since it was snowing, we just wanted to have viewed each location more as 20minutes allocation per area is a bit tight, considering the snowy and slippery roads that we have to walk to and we have a senior family member. Dara was very understanding of the passengers even though we’re late to return. And I hope that there is a charging port at the bus since almost all our tours has an outlet in the bus except for this one.

Dat was het hoogtepunt van mijn reis naar Japan. Onze gids Tetsu was erg behulpzaam, vriendelijk en deskundig. De hotels waar we verbleven waren geweldig. De reisroute is goed doordacht, elke plek is adembenemend.

Zeer aanbevolen. Perfecte tour om op te nemen in uw reisplan. De tourroute is perfect getimed en we hadden voldoende tijd om rond te dwalen in de omgeving. Onze gids Jenny is een van de beste gidsen die ik heb gehad van alle tours waaraan ik heb deelgenomen. Ze legde de plaatsen perfect uit en er was nooit een saai moment.

Zeer snelle ophaalservice op het ontmoetingspunt. Zeer comfortabele busrit. De gids, ik denk dat haar naam Vivian was, en de buschauffeur waren geweldig. Zo geduldig en vriendelijk. We hebben prachtige plekken gezien die we zelf niet hadden kunnen zien, omdat het erg landelijk was. Eerste keer dat ik Klook gebruikte, en ik vond het geweldig! Ook zeer redelijk geprijsd, wat een bonus is! Een absolute aanrader!

The weather was great on the day of the tour, and there weren't many tourists, so we could explore and take photos to our heart's content. The scenery was also incredibly beautiful. Our tour guide, Xiao Dong, recommended the local corn, which was very sweet. I didn't choose the all-you-can-eat cantaloupe option, but they also sold individual slices, so I felt that one or two pieces were enough to get a taste. If you want to try lavender and cantaloupe flavored ice cream, you don't have to choose just one; Tomita Farm offers a mixed flavor so you can try both at once. The entire itinerary was perfectly timed, allowing plenty of time to explore and take photos without feeling rushed. There was ample rest time in between, and both the bus and the areas around the attractions were very clean. Our guide, Xiao Dong, was also very enthusiastic, telling us about local snacks and products, and where to find the best value.

A lovely guided tour with enough time to see the places visited at each stop. Rick, the guide, was very knowledgeable, spoke perfect English, was friendly, and always attentive to the participants, ready to offer useful advice. This tour is highly recommended for visiting places that would have required extensive planning, as public transportation in Hokkaido is not as widespread or frequent as in the rest of Japan (unless you rent a car).
