It was easy to buy, redeem and use. However I find that the bus drivers seem suspicious about this when showed. The train station staff was ok. And I realised there are people who shared this by logging into 1 account on their individual phones, which cause a queue at the train station due to them slowly log out and log in. overall this pass really saves you ¥ if you take a few of the bus rides at Kawagoe. If it's just to go Kawagoe to and fro then not worth it.

this was an easy one transfer ride from seibu shinjuku to kawagoe station and back! no hassle just went there, rode one train, and i’m at kawagoe in an hour. makes a day trip at the countryside very very accessible! plus it’s cheap for a roundtrip ticket!

After purchasing, you'll also need to buy a limited express ticket (with reserved seating) separately on the Seibu Railway official website. Once you're on the official website, remember to switch the language to Japanese and then translate it to Chinese. This will allow the ticket purchase window to appear. If you choose the website's built-in language translation option immediately upon entering, nothing will show up, and the content will be very minimal. So, it's best to view it in Japanese first and then use a website translator. This time, we went straight to Nagatoro for a boat ride to start our day! It was beautiful~

This pass is very useful for traveling from Narita Airport to the city, and then to Kawagoe, Yokohama, Nikko, Enoshima, Ashikaga Flower Park, and various areas within Tokyo. You'll need to carefully plan your routes and combine it with JR lines (around 300 JPY) to reach many destinations. While it might take a little longer than using a regular transportation card, considering the time spent navigating unfamiliar routes, it doesn't add much extra time overall. Plus, you get to experience different train lines. The main drawback is that when purchasing tickets for multiple people, you can't split the tickets; only the purchaser's phone can display the e-ticket, so everyone needs to travel together. Additionally, you'll need to show the pass to station staff. At unstaffed stations, you'll have to use the intercom to inform the staff how many people are using the Greater Tokyo Pass to enter or exit, which can take a bit more time.
