⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommend the Doi Suthep half-day tour! The itinerary is well-paced and never feels rushed. Our tour guide, Mike, speaks Chinese, so communication was completely seamless. His service was exceptional; he patiently explained things along the way and even kindly offered to take photos for us, knowing all the best angles. We stopped at a Hmong village for coffee halfway through, which had a wonderful mountain atmosphere and offered an immersive experience of Northern Thailand's hill tribe culture. The entire experience was relaxed and comfortable, making it stress-free even with children. A wonderful mountain excursion in Chiang Mai and extremely satisfying!

We had a group size of 8 with people from 3 different countries! Our guide shared some history of Chiang Mai and of the 2 temples we were visiting. Duration was just right and thankful for the transportation to and from hotel!

More than a sunrise tour, this half day was truly meaningful, and our guide James was the highlight! We started by buying food to give dana (alms) at Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, passing the statue of the monk who raised funds to build the mountain road. James used to be a monk, so he explained the Buddha's story, the temple murals and the meaning of the pillar decorations. The sunrise was stunning, with the whole city below as James shared each temple's story. Wat Pha Lat is a peaceful hidden gem. Through his connections with the monks, James gave us real insight into monastic life and the meaning behind the nagas, tigers and deities. Our favourite was Wat Umong. We tried local instruments and drinks at a small event and explored the meditation tunnels a king built for a revered monk (with cute bats inside!). It felt like visiting historic Lanna temples with an actual monk by your side. Highly recommended, and James is the best guide!

This was the only tour available when I booked the day before, so I chose it. However, it turned out to be much better than I expected, and I'm glad I picked this one over other tours. The meeting time is very early, which makes the morning a bit challenging, but because of that, the temples and hiking trails were less crowded, allowing for a stress-free experience. Unfortunately, it was cloudy this time, so we couldn't see the sunrise. Our guide was also very thorough and made the experience enjoyable. I'm very grateful. We arrived back at the hotel before 9 AM, which meant we had the rest of the day to enjoy, making it very efficient. I highly recommend this tour.

We had such a great experience with our tour guide, Banana! 🍌 He was funny, friendly, and very informative throughout the whole tour. He explained the history, culture, and local traditions really well, which made the experience even more meaningful and interesting. What we appreciated the most was how caring and attentive he was to all the tourists. He always made sure everyone was comfortable, safe, and enjoying the tour. Loved this tour! Hiking the Monk's Trail up to Doi Suthep was so much better than just driving to the top. The trail was shaded and easy to follow, Wat Pha Lat was peaceful and beautiful, and we reached Doi Suthep before the crowds. Our guide was great and shared lots of history along the way. Highly recommend!

Fomos levados aos templos em uma van confortável, com nosso guia explicando o roteiro da noite. Ao chegarmos aos templos, ele explicou a história deles em excelente inglês. Teríamos perdido muito do seu significado se tivéssemos ido sozinhos. Participamos de algumas atividades que foram divertidas e realmente tornaram a viagem especial.
