Coisas para fazer em Ishigaki Island

This was a private car booking from Klook, and the overall experience was excellent. From clearing customs to the day's activities, the driver was very enthusiastic. We visited Kabira Bay, the lighthouse, and a limestone cave.

The customer service staff and driver were very friendly, and we were able to fully customize our desired itinerary, even having restaurants booked for us! On the first day, there was a delay in clearing customs, and I was worried we wouldn't have time to eat, so I immediately contacted customer service. They promptly assisted us, allowing us to successfully enjoy the meal we wanted! Highly recommended! The only minor drawback was that the driver only spoke Japanese, which was a bit of a shame.

The attraction has a relaxed atmosphere. The monkeys are not people-friendly and are unpredictable; their disdainful actions are quite amusing. The entire park is great for a slow-paced visit.

The sea in Ishigaki Island is truly beautiful! If you don't have a rental car, I highly recommend joining one of these local day tours. The driver uses translation software, so even if you don't understand Japanese, communication won't be a problem.

There was quite a lot of free time. The monkeys 🐒 were so cute and adorable. We paid extra to feed them. It's a pity we didn't get to ride the Kabira Bay glass-bottom boat.

The Japanese tour guide was professional and thoughtful, even providing umbrellas when it rained. They translated explanations of the attractions and the scenery along the way into Chinese, which was truly wonderful.

The equipment was clean, and having an English-speaking guide was fantastic! It was a great experience to see sea turtles, even from a distance, and to snorkel in the deep sea, which is usually difficult for families to access. On days with rain, strong winds, and rough waves, the underwater visibility might be poor, making it hard to see fish or corals, which can be a bit disappointing. I recommend choosing a clear day during the good season if possible. Thank you very much, Tatchan!

Many thanks to Coach Isokawa for the patient guidance, which allowed me, a non-swimmer with no snorkeling experience, to safely enjoy this trip. The underwater coral and various fish were incredibly abundant, and I even saw sea turtles. The coach was very proactive in taking photos for us, highly recommended! (However, non-swimmers should still consider carefully, as safety facilities are relatively limited)
