Ishigaki Island snorkeling

Experience: If it's your first visit to Ishigaki and you have more time for another snorkeling session, I would recommend this. First, we went snorkeling near Taketomi Island. Unfortunately, the visibility was low that day, so we couldn't clearly see the coral and fish from the surface. Luckily, our leader Chloe dived down and captured clearer images, and even met Limo! This activity lasted about 45 minutes before we headed to Yumejima (Dream Island). We spent about 30 minutes on the island for close-up viewing/photography before returning. The total trip was about 3 hours.

It was a speechlessly awesome experience! Our guide was very easygoing and spoke great English. The price was very reasonable, but the memories are absolutely priceless. I highly recommend this to anyone who is still hesitant!

We drove for about 30 minutes to a snorkeling spot in the north and went snorkeling. It rained in the morning, but by the time we gathered, the rain had stopped, so it didn't interfere with snorkeling. Even though it had rained, the water was clear, which made it enjoyable. The guide who led us was very kind, and when I told them I was too tired to attend in the afternoon, they were very understanding, though they expressed regret that I would miss the 'Fantasy Island' as it's a difficult place to get to. I was very grateful for their understanding. It was fun, thank you.

Natsune and Haruka were amazing! Super friendly and made sure everyone on the tour was well looked after! The kids enjoyed their first proper snorkel experience! We saw three sea turtles! The instructors were professional and friendly. All equipment was prepared for! We just needed to bring ourselves, water, and towels!

I never imagined this would be the highest quality half-day tour in all of Southeast Asia. The water was crystal clear, and we saw so many corals and fish. A half-day was just the right amount of time, the guide was friendly, and even drove us back to our hotel. Highly recommended.

This activity is safe even for those who can't swim. It's natural to feel a bit uneasy the first time, but Mr. Kobayashi patiently explained each step and safety measure, which was very reassuring. Mr. Kobayashi, the diver, and the boat driver were all very friendly. When entering the water, some people might experience a slight ringing in their ears (varies from person to person), but it doesn't affect the activity. Once in the sea, it felt like entering a new world, and all the initial tension disappeared! The weather on the day we participated was cloudy, but even so, we still encountered beautiful schools of fish underwater. The time spent in the water was about 20-25 minutes. The diver will help take great photos! Your neck and head will barely get wet, so even those wearing makeup can participate with peace of mind! Highly recommended 👍🏻

This trip was incredibly rich and fulfilling! The crew was well-staffed with multiple members assigned to different groups, ensuring that even those of us who can't swim felt completely safe and secure. A special thanks to Akari, our snorkeling guide, for her meticulous care, which led to an amazing snorkeling experience! These were truly the most stunning coral reefs I've ever seen, so close it felt like deep-sea diving! She also took so many beautiful photos for us—highly recommended! The scenery during the morning's canoe trip was also exceptionally beautiful (it would have been even more perfect with more mangrove views). Our guide, Shuto, was equally enthusiastic about helping everyone capture wonderful moments, leaving us with great memories! Finally, the Phantom Island beach is definitely a must-visit attraction; that jelly-like sea was truly dreamlike!

Visiting Ishigaki Island again. Last time, due to a typhoon, our snorkeling trip was changed to kayaking. This time, I signed up for both activities. Kayaking was still fun; I felt a sense of healing among the mangroves. The only slight downside was that too many people were doing/starting the activity at the same time. This was my first time snorkeling in Ishigaki, and the water was very clear. I saw many fish unique to Ishigaki Island, and I even met a sea turtle! Very lucky! However, a small incident occurred during the trip. Without going into too much detail, I want to praise Isa, our tour leader, for her quick response, which allowed the rest of the group (including me) to continue the trip with another leader! Although I don't have many memorable photos 🥹, I would recommend this to friends visiting Ishigaki!

Aunque el tiempo era malo con lluvias repentinas, la guía Chloe se comunicaba muy bien, lo que me hizo sentir seguro. Fue muy amable y atenta con los participantes, comprobando constantemente el estado de todos con un buen ritmo. Me hizo sentir seguro en el mar. La experiencia es buena para extranjeros, los guías turísticos pueden comunicarse en inglés bastante bien. Gracias por todo. En general, ¡el evento es muy recomendable!
