This activity is safe even for those who can't swim. It's natural to feel a bit uneasy the first time, but Mr. Kobayashi patiently explained each step and safety measure, which was very reassuring. Mr. Kobayashi, the diver, and the boat driver were all very friendly. When entering the water, some people might experience a slight ringing in their ears (varies from person to person), but it doesn't affect the activity. Once in the sea, it felt like entering a new world, and all the initial tension disappeared! The weather on the day we participated was cloudy, but even so, we still encountered beautiful schools of fish underwater. The time spent in the water was about 20-25 minutes. The diver will help take great photos! Your neck and head will barely get wet, so even those wearing makeup can participate with peace of mind! Highly recommended 👍🏻
We applied for the tour at 3 PM. If you contact them in advance, they will come to pick you up at the designated pick-up location. Upon arrival, you'll fill out a simple consent form, and if needed (when the water is cold), they provide diving suits (?), water shoes, and bottled water. (We wore swimsuits under our regular clothes and brought towels; you just wear the suit over your swimsuit.) There are three staff members who accompany you: one main guide, one who takes photos with you underwater, and one who manages the equipment on the boat. Everyone was incredibly kind, and especially the main guide spoke excellent English, so there were no communication issues at all. I can't swim at all and am afraid of water, so I was nervous when I first went in, but once I was in, I thought it was a truly new and mysterious world, and I was glad I did it. We walked on the seabed for about 20-25 minutes, watching the fish, and it felt like being in a natural aquarium. I saw colorful, amazing fish right before my eyes, and even Nemo!!! They sprinkle a little food to naturally attract the fish, haha. I'm afraid of water and have never even tried scuba diving, but thanks to this tour, I was able to get some wonderful photos that I'll cherish forever, which was great. After the tour, if you wish, you can also shower at a nearby unmanned paid shower facility, so keep that in mind. We used it to rinse off the seawater for 500 yen per person. The tour location is the Euglena Ferry, so after it's over, it's perfectly convenient to do some shopping, have dinner, and head back!!! I was a little worried since there were no reviews when I applied, but I am very satisfied!!!
An excellent activity experience. Yuichi-san and his team were kind and friendly, explaining all the activity details carefully. Nakamura-san, as the diver, accompanied us throughout, helping with photography. We thoroughly enjoyed the process. The chosen underwater location was clear, allowing us to see various fish species. After completion, all photos and videos were sent to us free of charge, and the shooting angles were professional. It deserves a five-star rating and is highly recommended!
A great experience, worth trying for all beginners. It would be even better if there was a Line contact service.
¡Fue un tour muy divertido! El equipo es genial y las fotos bajo el agua salieron muy bien. ¡Estamos súper contentos de haber hecho esto en Ishigaki, es algo que no te puedes perder!
A very good experience. The staff were also meticulous in assisting with the wearing and checking of equipment, ensuring good safety.
