Ishigaki Island / Noite Passeio noturno pelo céu estrelado e pela selva (Okinawa)

We were a group of 1 adult and 2 children visiting Ishigaki: Although it was a bit of a shame that we couldn't see the starry sky due to too many clouds after the typhoon (we should have been able to capture a beautiful starry sky), the jungle and beach exploration still made both the children and adults happy. The tour guide was young, energetic, and enthusiastic. Below are the comments from the two children. Brother: I had fun during the jungle tour. I saw a sea snake in the water near the shore, lots of hermit crabs, and my favorite, a coconut crab. The ghost crab was the hardest to find, and we also saw a butterfly pupa and even a hider crab. Overall, it was really fun and exciting. Sister: It was very fascinating to explore this jungle I’ve never seen, and exploring new areas and animals and learning the history of this island was very eye-opening. The tour guide was very insightful and friendly, and he also knew how to speak English and communicate with us.

It was a truly special experience because the guide showed us unique courses that only they knew. We were able to see places not easily accessible to the general public, which significantly increased our satisfaction with the tour. The kind explanations in Korean made it easy to understand the content, and we could participate comfortably from beginning to end. The guide's bright energy throughout made the tour even more enjoyable, and it was immediately clear why they are such a good guide. Their meticulous attention to safety also put us at ease, and I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a unique and memorable experience in Ishigaki.

A very pleasant journey! The night exploration was quite exciting, allowing us to see much of Ishigaki Island's geological history and the creatures inhabiting the forest. The staff explained everything meticulously and patiently helped us find different creatures. Each small group had a staff member looking after the participants, which made us feel very safe! We also got to see the beach under a sky full of stars! Very happy! It's definitely worth exploring!👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

石垣島での星空＆ジャングルナイトツアーに参加し、あかりさんの案内で忘れられない体験をしました。このツアーは信じられないほどユニークで楽しく、普通の観光とは一味違うものでした。 あかりさんはとてもプロフェッショナルで知識が豊富、そして陽気な方でした。彼女のおかげで、ツアー全体がリラックスできて楽しいものになりました。ジャングルを案内し、野生動物を探す手助けをしてくれる間も、島の地質形成や自然環境について興味深い情報をたくさん教えてくれました。ツアーを通して多くのことを学びました。 夜の自然を探索するのは本当に魔法のようで、石垣島を全く新しい方法で appreciating することができました。夏にまた訪れて、息をのむような満天の星空を見たいです。 強くお勧めします！

I booked the night tour through Klook because it was supposed to have countless stars in the night sky, but unfortunately, due to the rain forecast for the next day, there were too many clouds and not a single star was visible. I was disappointed. We walked through the pitch-dark forest path relying on just one flashlight, and surprisingly, the children observed the forest, talked a lot about various things, and didn't get annoyed at all; they actually enjoyed it. We saw all sorts of creatures: frogs, water snakes, land snakes (?), camel crickets, house centipedes, and coconut crabs, haha. Thanks to the kind and energetic guide, Makoto-san, the rough jungle didn't feel scary at all. They said that the Ryukyu (Okinawa) archipelago consists of islands formed by the movement of tectonic plates, where coral reefs formed in the sea, and as the crust uplifted (rose upwards), those coral reefs became land! The terrain of the night tour was made of coral! That's why even now, the seawater is clear, coral reefs are well-developed, and there are many caves and limestone formations. I thought they would be bored without Wi-Fi, but they accepted the situation and surprisingly quickly turned their attention to other things. Then it hit me. Instead of scolding them for using their phones too much, it would have been better to create environments where they couldn't use their phones more often. Even two days after the tour ended, they were still talking about how good the night tour was! For reference, these are male students who are now going into their first year of high school and first year of middle school.

Our guide, Sebastian, was incredibly kind. He meticulously checked if our boots were comfortable, and even after we arrived, he walked with us, sweating, and provided detailed explanations without resting, so we could see more insects, coconut crabs, and stars! Thanks to Sebastian, I saw my first scorpion. Thank you for helping us create wonderful memories with our children! I highly recommend experiencing the Jungle Night Tour!

Sebastian ile harika zaman geçirdik! Ormanın harika bir turunu yaptı ve görmemiz için mümkün olduğunca çok farklı canlı bulmak için elinden geleni yaptı. Ishigaki ve orman hakkında çok bilgilendiriciydi ve çok iyi İngilizce konuşuyordu. Hepimizin eğlendiğinden ve güvende kaldığından emin oldu. Ayrıca ormandan dönerken bize bolca yiyecek/aktivite tavsiyesi verdi!

本当に楽しくてワクワクしました。ガイドのイサさんは素晴らしい英語を話し、島周辺の様々な現象、例えば洞窟が古いサンゴ礁であることや、ウミヘビがどこに生息しているかなどを説明してくれました。ココナッツガニ、ヤドカリ、スナガニも見ることができ、イサさんは満天の星空を背景にみんなの写真を撮ってくれました。ツアーの最後には、車内で石垣の音楽を流して良い雰囲気で締めくくってくれました。強くお勧めします。

We had a wonderful and perfect night tour, thanks to our guide Akari! Although the sky was cloudy and we couldn't stargaze, she was very cheerful and friendly, and explained everything in great detail, which made it very interesting for us. She found and showed us many creatures, leaving us with deep memories and experiences from our trip to Ishigaki Island!!
