Ilha de Ishigaki: Ilha Fantasma & Snorkeling na Gruta Azul (Tour de 1 dia)

We drove for about 30 minutes to a snorkeling spot in the north and went snorkeling. It rained in the morning, but by the time we gathered, the rain had stopped, so it didn't interfere with snorkeling. Even though it had rained, the water was clear, which made it enjoyable. The guide who led us was very kind, and when I told them I was too tired to attend in the afternoon, they were very understanding, though they expressed regret that I would miss the 'Fantasy Island' as it's a difficult place to get to. I was very grateful for their understanding. It was fun, thank you.

Did our tour under guide Yuki who was fun and professional. These tours are run in small groups with one guide, can provide all necessary equipment including wetsuit. Unfortunately because of the tides and winds, phantom island portion was cancelled (partial refund was given) and we couldn’t swim very far out for blue cave. But sights were really amazing! Highly recommend to be able to see Ishigaki’s reefs. They take some photos for you for free and send at the end of the day :)

This afternoon I joined the snorkeling tour by ISHIGAKI ADVENTURE PiPi and it was a truly unforgettable experience. The first stop was directly into the sea for snorkeling, where I saw colorful tropical fish and vast coral reefs, as if entering a vibrant underwater world. The second stop was the dreamlike Phantom Island, where the pristine white sandbar sparkled under the sun, intertwining with the azure sea, a breathtakingly beautiful sight. The tour company's arrangements were very thoughtful, with complete equipment and a smooth process, making everyone feel at ease throughout. Special thanks to our guide Jiro, who was very enthusiastic throughout, not only patiently explaining the marine and island ecology but also thoughtfully helping everyone take many wonderful photos, making the entire trip even more relaxed and enjoyable. This snorkeling experience in Ishigaki Island is truly worth recommending!

This is my first time snorkeling! Unfortunately, due to sea and air conditions, we couldn't go to the Blue Cave. Instead, we went to another beach to snorkel. The coach was very careful and allowed us to see the fish and beautiful views. The coral was amazing while snorkeling. In the afternoon, we went to Phantom Island and snorkeled again. It was truly, truly, truly beautiful to see the coral. I highly recommend this tour if the weather is good and if you want to see beautiful coral and some fish under the sea.

The itinerary is divided into morning and afternoon sessions, with a lunch break of 1.5 to 2 hours. The journey to Fantasy Island takes about 25 minutes by boat, and the Blue Cave is about a 30-minute drive. The equipment is complete, though the life vests are a bit old and lack crotch straps, but this does not affect safety. The Fantasy Island tour starts with snorkeling by the boat, which is not long, and the marine life seen is decent. The water is very clear and clean. We stayed on the island for about 15-20 minutes, which was enough time for photos and videos. The water at Fantasy Island is incredibly beautiful! After getting off the car for the Blue Cave, there's a considerable downhill path that's not easy to walk. Once at the beach, you need to wade through water for a distance to reach the Blue Cave. This section has many reefs and is not suitable for the elderly or young children. There's ample time for snorkeling at the Blue Cave. Those with less stamina should stay close to the coach's lifebuoy. Snorkeling outside the Blue Cave is super beautiful, but unfortunately, you can't bring your own camera due to the risk of losing it. After the PiPi tour, free, unlimited-time shower rooms are available. It's recommended to bring your own shampoo and shower gel. In summary, this itinerary is very cost-effective and highly recommended. The staff are friendly, and they speak English! (Not suitable for young children or the elderly)

My friend and I originally booked the Phantom Island + Blue Cave tour. However, the day before, we were informed that due to weather conditions, we couldn't go to Phantom Island! We could choose between a refund or changing to the Mangrove + Blue Cave tour! But the original tour cost over 900 NTD, while the changed tour was over 800 NTD! Klook was unable to help with refunding the overpaid amount, which is a bit problematic! Furthermore, it was impossible to rebook the day before! Regarding the tour itself, today Yuki led us on the itinerary! She is a very nice and professional tour guide. We were very satisfied with the entire process and had a great time! During the mangrove tour, the sky was blue with white clouds! The burger Yuki recommended for lunch was also delicious! The Blue Cave was truly breathtakingly beautiful! Then we went out to the open sea for snorkeling. The clear seabed was like being in an aquarium with so many fish and corals. During the trip, Yuki helped us take photos, and she also spoke fluent English, was very attentive, and great to chat with! Highly recommended!

残念ながら、潮の関係で幻の島には行けませんでしたが、青の洞窟シュノーケリングツアーに参加し、最高でした。ガイドのMAKOTOさんは素晴らしい仕事をしてくれました。サンゴ礁（ウミヘビ、カクレクマノミの赤ちゃん、他の魚、ナマコなど）を見せてくれ、たくさんの写真も撮ってくれました。MAKOTOさん、本当にありがとうございました！

Amazing snorkeling experience in Ishigaki Island! Crystal-clear water, colorful fish and great staff. The service of Makoto san and Akari san was outstanding too. The friendly guides were professional, provided great equipment, took beautiful photos, and ensured everyone felt safe and comfortable. Small group size and warm Japanese hospitality made the whole experience perfect. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Ishigaki!
