Iriomote-jima, Ilha Barasu: snorkeling e SUP nos manguezais ou experiência de 1 dia de canoa (Okinawa)

I joined the Yubu Island day tour with mangrove canoeing and had a great experience. Special thanks to Matcha for being very responsible and clearly reminding me of the meeting time during the Yubu Island visit. As the only foreign guest in the group, his attentiveness made me feel very safe and comfortable. Also, thank you to Cocoro for leading the mangrove canoe tour. She was very professional, caring, and knowledgeable about the local geography and plants. I learned a lot and really enjoyed the experience. Wonderful trip with amazing guides. Highly recommended!

An unforgettable experience in Iriomote, a wild island and UNESCO World Heritage Site! Snorkeling among spectacular corals and colorful fish: a true underwater paradise. Kono, our instructor, was amazing – friendly, super attentive, and with excellent English that made every explanation clear and engaging. Yume, the photographer, gave us wonderful shots: thanks to her we’ll keep unique memories forever. After snorkeling, we explored the mangroves by kayak. Even at low tide, Kono made the tour fun and fascinating, sharing lots of insights about wildlife and nature. As a final surprise, he introduced us to the delicious pineapple popsicles – perfect after the adventure. Breathtaking nature, flawless organization, and an outstanding team: highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience the best of Iriomote!

Highly recommended, Coach KONO was nice and sincere, with great views around the river and in the sea. KONO was very patient. When I was struggling in the sea, he taught me to relax and use the gear to breathe gently. The corals and fish were great and stunning. Overall, an 11 out of 10. Absolutely fantastic!

¡El mejor tour de la isla! ¡Altamente recomendado! Reservamos un tour de día completo (SUP por la mañana, snorkel en barco por la tarde) con dos guías diferentes. Pudimos comunicarnos bien en inglés sin ningún problema, y el tamaño reducido del grupo (6-7 personas por guía) aseguró que todos estuvieran bien atendidos. El itinerario fue muy conveniente. El guía nos llevó al muelle para almorzar entre sesiones. Tenga en cuenta que los compañeros del grupo de la mañana pueden cambiar para la tarde, ya que algunos solo se unen para tours de medio día. Como los únicos participantes de día completo, nos saltamos las duchas después del SUP ya que no nos caímos y fuimos directamente a almorzar. Un punto culminante inesperado fue la fotografía. Los guías tomaron fantásticas fotos espontáneas mientras remábamos. A pesar de comenzar a las 9:00 AM, recibimos todas las fotos entre las 10:00 y las 11:00 PM del mismo día. ¡Un servicio extremadamente rápido! Una experiencia increíble en general.

Super recomendado el tour, cuando hicimos kayak estaba lloviendo un poco y eso hizo la experiencia aún más hermosa. ¡Los manglares con lluvia fueron realmente increíbles! En el snorkel vimos muchos peces de colores grandes y pequeños/corales e incluso una tortuga marina enorme que nos encantó ver. Shoma (nuestro guía) fue muy amable y agradable con nosotros y tenía un gran nivel de inglés. Él nos ayudó a encontrar esa tortuga marina :)

Kono was our tour guide, and the activity was delightful and satisfying. His English was excellent, and as I'm from Taiwan, communication was seamless ☺️. Today, we saw unique crabs 🦀 in the mangrove area and enjoyed fun kayaking 🛶. While snorkeling, we saw various fish and corals, and even a sea snake 🐍, 👍! Don't hesitate, just come here and have a great time!

I joined several tours during our trip, but this was by far my favorite experience. Huge thanks to our amazing guide, KAIRI ❤️! I don’t speak Japanese, but he always explained things in English whenever needed and made sure I understood everything. He constantly checked if we were okay, adjusted the kayak to fit us, and made sure our equipment was comfortable. I was especially impressed by how passionate he is about nature. His explanations about the mangroves made the tour even more meaningful, and he took amazing photos for us. (And yes… he looks like an idol. 😂) We had an absolutely incredible time and saw more than eight sea turtles! The ocean was crystal clear, and the underwater scenery was breathtaking. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Ishigaki or Iriomote. Thank you again, Kairi, for making our trip so special. We hope to come back again!

We didn't get to do the Barasu snorkeling due to weather, but our afternoon mangrove guide Ayu-chan made the trip perfect! She's very professional, passionate, and speaks perfect English. We had a good time on the water, and she explained many fun facts about the mangrove, the creatures, and the island. Recommended!
